Thanks so much for this video! Didn't know this stuff existed, I was just about to buy some $50 reusable mould maker because it was all I could find, but this is only $11 on Amazon! And since my crafting/hobby budget is very minimal, that's a significant difference! Love your channel :)

Lovely demo! Glad you're having fun with the new car! The camera/ phone works well...... ! And I love the zombie Shakespeare reference! 😄

This is sooo timely. I had seen a demo of this product some time ago and was reminded of it again after seeing a video using another compound to make texture sheets. However, I couldn't remember the name of Oyumaru, was trying to figure out how in the world I would find it again. And here you are demonstrating it!! Well met, Unruly!

wow I love the idea of it being reusable. Sitting here listening to the much needed rain. The video from your new phone is bright and the sound is great. Off to Amazon I go to find some Oyumaru. xXxX

I love this stuff. I got some interesting impressions from the soles of shoes. Wavy ridged cardboard packaging is good too; croissants from Waitrose, or toasties from Costa Coffee.

That's neat. Kind of like when I melt HDPE to make molds with. Was the resin hard to get out though? I haven't had an issue getting cured resin out with HDPE. Also can't melt HDPE in hot water - I use my clay oven. I still like my home made gelatin reusable mold stuff best for a DIY and Oomoo best for something purchased. :D - Heidi

I get my HDPE from gallon (and 1/2 gallon) milk jugs as well as the plastic coffee cans and other product packaging. Just look for the HDPE on the bottom. :) It is pretty hard/rigid when it sets which is why I do the DIY reusable gelatin/glycerin one because that one is flexible but while strong enough it is not as strong as the liquid silicone which is why I also use the Oomoo. *laughs*

I’ve never heard of this so I wouldn’t have known what to do with it. Thanks for the info and it’s something to bear in mind.

Since months I am thinking about if I should buy this or not. Now I saw it and know I will buy it. I have a very nice Buddha head. Maybe it will get a Zombie Buddha? :-) I will try and give my best.
