How was South Korea for layover? I always went to Taiwan but Korean Air much cheaper then EVA which i used before
They are both similar. I actually prefer EVA because i like the 1:30 am red eye flight. You going EVA this time?

For your convenience and future flights, I suggest since you're from Seattle,there's direct flight from LA to MACTAN CEBU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT,it's a no hassle flight.You have one lay over,from Cebu to Tacloban City its a very short flight,less than 30 minutes.Another option from Cebu City,is via sea travel.Fast craft or super jet,it takes 1 hour.

First time i went to see my filipina wason korean air or asiana airlines. It was an airbus and i was on the top floor. But ..flying out of NYC i was surprised that they flew straight north to the hudson bay over to Alaska then down through Russia to south korea. That was alot longer than twelve hours though.
