Funny enough, In Episode One, Eva , spoilers,
Is literally reading a Script "BEATRICE" gave her when she is "solving the Mystery" because BEATRICE wants Battler to find her Reality. So, she isn't really doing it because she wants to, just because she is told to.

Sad Note about Eva and Ange, Spoilers:
It is implied every time Eva sees Ange, she sees Kyrie, no the Murderer. And every time that happen, EVA BEATRICE gets a little bit... stronger...

amazing analysis! i've watched your previous umineko video as well and i must say, i am thoroughly impressed by your interpretations and the comparisons you made between umineko and other forms of literary works. not to mention, the way in which you deliver your thoughts has a very refreshing feel into it! simply amazing how you're able to execute these analyses. eva is my favorite ushiromiya adult along with natsuhi so watching this was definitely very fulfilling- you took the words right out my mouth yet still managed to sprinkle in new flavors that amaze me. umineko is definitely one of those works that keeps surprising you with new "truths" the more you think about it. it is as battler says; "never stop thinking!" looking forward to your next umineko video ^_^

Great video. But George chose to sacrifice everyone else! It leads to an uncharitable understanding of George. And Eva does care about her husbands company. It's shown in Episode 7 she is willing to blow up the gold and the entire island because she knows the trust and hard work she built is invaluable. She is even tormented by this when she lost the public trust post-Rokkenjima, when she had to run her company using fear instead.

Fantastic. Eva is my favourite in the older generation Ushiromiyas.

    Interesting point. Spoilers about George.
George choses "Everybody else's Lives" to sacrifice exactly like GOLDSMITH/ Kinzo. George loves Shannon. Kinzo loves BEATRICE. But they love them to the exclusion of Everybody else. It is obsession as Love. But BEATRICE has a Negative Fantasy about George's reaction to who "Shannon" really is she cannot get passed. So it isn't so much what George is thinking but what BEATRICE thinks he is thinking in Episode 4. It is BEATRICE as Gamemaster projecting into George.
George chose Himself and Shannon. But "Shannon" is hiding other people, and BEATRICE doesn't believe George can accept "that" . SO BEATRICE saves George and Shannon's Relationship by putting it in a "Box".

i can't believe I made that error with which one george picked... unfortunate. as for your second point I think it comes down to interpretation as to how accurate beatrice's image of george really is, so there's no way of knowing the precise ratio of how much she's projecting versus how much is simply george. thanks for watching!

The Author confirms George would have accepted all of the Human behind Shannon if they had actually told him the whole truth, but that isn't how BEATRICE tends to work. The feel like they must be Solved and Are hyper alert to perceived reactions.@@zarinthel

@@Fragmentsinfractals488 George's flaw comes down to not whether or not he could accept the truth, but that he was too afraid to look at it, too afraid to ask why Shannon looked sad. George is the same as Sayo in this way, strongly believing while ignoring the rest.

Hold on, does that mean to an extent the characterization in the gameboard is sometimes not from what the actual characters would have done, but Beatrice image of them? Isn't that problematic?

@@LeafSouls Remember, truth of the future overwrites truth of the past.
As an example, BEATRICE writes Kyrie not knowing about Rudolph's legal problems. but FEATHERINE (Tohya and Ikuko) writes she definitely knows and help them make their plans.
Or BATTLER in 8, who makes Kinzo friendly with his grandchildren.
The Games have possible interpretations of the characters. They are based on the Real people, but not exactly them.
