You are incredible!! I tell me husband about you all the time. He is the he is the Director of the small business administration in the state of Ohio. I literally make him watch your videos with me. You are a beast. He is putting programs in place to help all….. ALL Americans looking to start a small business. Once those programs are implemented, I’m going to have him contact you. You have really blown my mind. You are a phenomenal teacher. I know I’m talking a lot right now, I’m just simply impressed with you.
Don't take this the wrong way, "I love you." As I said before and I will continue to say it, you are awesome. We are blessed to be a part of your channel.
Girl, my recipe was good but i often have issues with getting too much moisture in my mix and i would only get about half the batch made before id lose the rest of it. I came across this video and all i did was add coco b back into my liquids to create the blob! My last two FULL batches are flawless, i cant thank you enough!!
Thank you. We have started a CP soap business and I've been wanting to add bath bombs to our line up. I feel like I am so cheating the system by watching your videos. I work full time and help my hubby with the CP soap making so finding your videos is a blessing. Again thank you so much. I have learned a HUGE amount from you. ❤
You said if it’s not broke, don’t fix it… Well mine seem to be broke. I just can’t get them perfectly round or not to break. I just finished watching your video and taking very precision like notes and I am going into my work room and I’m gonna try it right now.! Wish me luck!!!
That's a bathbomb!! I agree with adding citric acid last. It was like using scented baby powder for a bath. Forget molding it ...I did have one hold for about 30min. When attempting to place it by a dehumidifer it exploded with the lightest touch. 👈💥😳 Strangest reaction so far from making bathbombs. So glad you mentioned you had a similar texture.
Thank you so much, I’m going to try this because I do live in a hotter state with humidity and nothing seems to bring it down. I will come back to let you know the results. I already use the same dry ingredient amounts that you do only in grams, but I’m gonna try the glop.
I have been doing this for about 4 years, I never have bombs react prematurely and they dry rock hard. I also sometimes melt my slsa with my wet mix to ensure even distribution.
Buongiorno Dora sono appassionata di bombe da bagno, posso chiederti quali sono le dosi degli ingredienti solidi, (non misura in tazza-non riesco a capire la dose). Grazie
You have so many great recipes. Wondering if, “the blob” will make all your recipes better!?? Team blob looks good, so far, you could sell blob merch ❤🎉😊
Thanks Brianna. The blob is really useful in ANY recipe that contains baking soda and citric acid - whether it's bubble bar, bath bombs, a base for bath salt, etc. Did you say blob merch? Interesting... I'll have to think about that! lol
Could you please make a tutorial on the valentine/flower bombshells from lush or the golden wonder bathbomb? Only you could make a tutorial so good i can actually follow it 🥺 haha
Awe. I’ll try! I’m always recreating Lush’s stuff. I hate to admit it- because Lord knows their company doesn’t need any more credit- but I am a LUSHIE FOR LIFE! I absolutely love their stuff. Lush is the one reason that I have my channel, that I’m into bath stuff, and that I will never stop formulating/experimenting to get better
Thanks Dora... I noticed this blob thing the last time you mentioned to put in a spray bottle..I walked away it it was thiCker than a snicker.. LOL newho thanks for the new info. And as always you are appreciated. BTW you're absolutely beautiful I see you don't have hardly any makeup on. Keepit roCkin' beautiful
Hi Dora, I am totally new to bath bombs, i tried it a long time ago and it fizzed so much that i gave up, but I love them so much that Im trying this again, however my humidity is average around 70 - 90% and maybe thats the reason why I was unsuccessful last time, Can you give me pointers what to do with such high humidity? Thank you for your channel I made some of your other stuff and and enjoy your creations thoroughly :) thank you so much for teaching and sharing, if not for people like your kind heart it would really have been a battle. God Bless you dear xxx
Hello from France !!! Your videos are extraordinary, plus you really do great video editing, we really feel the passion you have for doing this and sharing it with us, thank you very much. In addition, you even allow us to take full advantage of your content with the translation of the video descriptions. So I wanted to know: with your experience, how many bath bombs is it possible to make in 1 hour? Thanks again you are great !!
Thank you so much. Im so happy my channel has helped you. And I have no idea - I've never timed myself! If I had to guess though, with everything made and ready to go, I can crank a small/med bath bomb out every 30 seconds. The bigger they are, the more time they take
Hi there! First time making bath bombs here and I stumbled upon this tutorial. I think I'll try your simple recipe first and if I have issues with drying, I'll make the "blob". Love the name btw :D Question: how much pigment/colorant is needed for the blob when using micas and/or colorants (I'm restricted to micas atm because I haven't graduated to powders yet)? Is the colorant measurement the same as when mixing into the normal wet mixture, and if so, what's the recommended measurement? Super excited to get started! I just don't want to be wasteful if I can help it. Thank you!
Hello, I love your videos. I just came across them and I've been obsessed since. I was wondering how many mls of the hydrogenated castor oil peg 40 do you use? Thank you
I stop making bath bombs cause they just fall apart. after so many recipes fails, I accepted defeat.😢 thank you so much for all the information 😊 going to try again. I believe that bath bombs are the hardest bath product to make. 😳 That’s just me! Lol!😅
My bath bomb recipe is a heavily oil based recipe with literally just a tsp or two of water max. I played around forever until I found the oil heavy ones gave that perfect long working consistency.
Hi Dora, I've only recently found your channel, and thank you so much for all your teachings. I've been going through your videos, I can't express enough how valuable they are to me, as I'm just starting out. I have a question, Can one add other ingredients to this formular like your relaxing spa bombs and bubble bath bombs. Thank you again, you do a fantastic job x
BRILLIANT!!! Is there a way to thicken the wets in your Bubble Bath Bomb recipe - maybe with heated Crothix? Or would that negatively affect the quality and volume of bubbles produced? I love my 'hollywood bubbles'!!
I have not even made my first bath bomb yet...so looks like I got in a great secret right off the bat! Where would you suggest I start in watching your tutorials? Just now starting to get some supplies..and trying to learn as much as I can.. Any advice appreciated.. Thank you...
Dive into my playlist “bath bomb making 101”. If you watch all of those, you’ll be good to go! Stop procrastinating & make a batch of bath bombs already- they’re so much fun!
Thank you for teaching us, a few months ago I was making bath bombs and my liquid became very thick. My first thought was I messed up big time. Now because of your teaching I know it was ok. Thank you again
Thank you so much for amazing video! I would like to know what would be good carrier oil for this recipe. I saw you used grape seeds oil. May i use olive oil or coconut oil?
Could you mix SCI in your wet ingredients then thicken with a little regular salt if you're looking to get a consistent texture? Or is the thickness due to whipping it into a froth?
Dora, thank you again for this amazing video. I would like to ask you if there is a way to get the wet ingredients in volume. My mix didn’t come out so perfect 😢. Almost. Thanks you! 😊
Hello, thanks for the explanation until I finally see someone explain the main thing about effervescent bombs. My question is what carrier oil should you use? Can I use fractionated coconut oil?
My bath bumps aren't foamy. They're just colored and they sink to the bottom. I want them foamy and bubbly. They also don't fizz a lot. They do a little though
I mix my baking soda and other dry ingredients together. Then add the all liquids and mix. Then add the citric acid. You never get a reaction this way!
Are you saying that when using a thick binder, high humidity will no longer be a worrying factor??!! (OH PLEASE, OH PLEASE, OH PLEEEEEASE SAY THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!!)
Unfortunately, I am NOT saying that. This isn't a magic solution for bath bombs, but it sure does help - A LOT! It cuts down on premature reactions, cracks, etc (all the negative stuff), but it doesn't always 100% guarantee perfect bath bombs in every situation. Weather/humidity still needs to be considered. And, you still need to try to keep wet and dry ratios balanced as much as possible. Think of this as a crutch; it helps you walk & keeps you from falling, BUT you still need to put in effort and do the work.
You are a genius this worked perfectly when I tried it
AWESOME!!!!!

What is carrier oil, is that the same thing an an essential oil?
Not at all. CO is regular oil (almond, jojoba, etc). EO is concentrated oil that smells very strong, like rose, orange, or lemongrass essential oil
