Actually back in the days, BP and Bts really enjoyed each other performances and stuff, they sang along, danced etc, but then a lot of dating rumours began(it's a bad thing in Korea), even if they looked each other in the eyes, or make any kind of contact people misinterpret that as a evidence that they are dating. So maybe their companies forbid them to interact and enjoy each other performances to avoid dating scandals, when you see them now, they are just clapping with no expression on their faces. The reason male and female Kpop Idols so studiously ignore each at these shows is the Kpop paparazzi. If they speak or even look at each other the paparazzi will have headlines that they're dating or worse. So the companies order the idols to ignore each other. Many actually do know one other, usually from their training days when they weren't known. There is a part of Seoul that is where the young people hang out on weekends, and that is where the trainees go. Balckpink house was near there, its where they gave out the macaroons they made.
I just rewatched this video and I think you should watch bts and twice moments, they have lot’s of actual interactions with each other.

6:11 since both groups are big, they have immature fans, some are obsessed with their idols. So if they do that, since BTS is bigger in general, BLACKPINK will more likely be the one to get hated. They are actually not allowed to date in the korean industry not like in the US. They are also not allowed to interact with opposite sex idols at award shows (or at least on cam).
