🎮Get 5% Off Any Game at Gamivo (Code: KAGANATH): gvo.deals/Kaganath The most surprising realization that I got from this video was how much I ended up enjoying Ys IX. It was the game I was least interested in but it had so much charm that I think I might end up trying out the other games in the series. Also, Star Rail is damn good but I've got a huge Genshin backlog to go through before going all in. Come hang out on twitch if you'd like! 👉 www.twitch.tv/kaganath
Already played Code Vein (and 100% it except for the multiplayer/grindy one) I've done one playthrough of Scarlet Nexus (Yuito) and gotten around half the achievements (only a few that I havent gotten that arent locked behind playing Kasane's side) Me who started HSR on september 1st and have literally done EVERY fricken thing in the game- I love it was too much (I also play hi3) I already 100% Tales of Arise (+dlc), except for 2 of the friendship ones (which would take me sitting for 10 hours) and have done 2 playthroughs. I love it- the story, the gameplay, just amazing
@@alvinvalentino5797 the combat is around a 6/10 for me. Ive seen better and much worse. The story is what I really enjoyed the most The game overall is an 8/10 for me
I come from games like Horizon zero dawn, Last of Us and Assassin Creed games. I tried a few games on this list in the past, but was never able to get into JRPG games. Until I recently tried Tales of Arise. That game definitely had me hooked due to the story.
Glad you found a game you liked! I have another video like this on the channel so if you ever need to find new games, that one has some really good ones that I enjoyed as well.
Tales Of Arise is pretty much taken from the Bible. You play as the anti-Christ rebelling against God. Exact same thing can be seen in Atlas Fallen, where you also play as the anti-Christ, your helper is the devil who rebelled against God but got destroyed, now he's in spirit form and helping you to fight against God. Weird how that happens....
It's pretty sad there is still no serious competition to Genshin that has online co-op domains, etc. I'm pretty burnt out on Genshin. Only good options might be Zelda,Tales games but no online co op so you feel isolated. And maybe Final Fantasy 14, World of Warcraft but both are pretty dated.
Dunno if you made an updated list of this yet in a new video, but Granblue Fantasy: Relink is definitely one of the best JRPGs I've ever played, no gacha wallet milking there, you just grind for your characters but at least it's not a hard grind. For any who has played that game or wants to play it, Vaseraga is the OP character in that game, he is my absolute favourite.
I've actually been wanting to play Relink since it was first announced back when I played the gacha game! It just took so long though, that when it actually released my interest was already on to something else. I'll definitely play it at some point though as I've heard great things about the game.
Man I was really surprised by the ys games I didn’t think the games would be that good but I was so wrong They tell some incredible stories If only they had the budget that final fantasy has or some other AAA. Like these guys are good I also played the psp game a while back Ys 7 equally as amazing They’ve never really been that popular for years they developed games like these But I hope one day they get big cuz they’re really talented Story wise I’m excited for their new game Ys nordics I believe it’s called Curios as to what it’s gonna be about.
Yees! I partially covered Nordics in a similar video to this one but I haven't kept up with the release date for the English audience. Still excited though!
I'm a bigger fan of Code Vein compared to Scarlet Nexus so I'm a little biased but if you're into souls-likes or challenging games in general Code Vein is worth it, even for multiple playthroughs. Build variety, gameplay and story are all really good imo. However, if you're sick of those types of games which a lot of people are after Elden Ring, then Scarlet Nexus is a great game to experience after a long day. Combat is very fun and satisfying, and story is decent even though it might feel slow in the beginning. Both good games, I'm just a big fan of Souls-likes so Code Vein is higher up on my list!
I liked playing the genshin impact cloud. The problem is that when your free trial runs out, you have to pay for it. (I didn't download the original genshin impact because it consumes my storage.)
yeah tower of fantasy is just not it for me. I want to like the game but it feels off for some reason and I always go back to genshin 😂 the fps is more than genshin but for some reason genshin felt smoother than ToF. Tales of Arise, Code Vein, Honkai Star Rail and Scarlet Nexus are very solid anime games. As for Ys 9, never played that game but I have played the previous Ys and it was good. Can't wait for Blue Protocol and Wuthering Waves. It's gonna be sick.
I've been waiting for that game since it was first announced. I was very into GBF the gacha game back then, but when Relink actually came out I just had zero interest from waiting for so long. Maybe I'll try it out in a stream at some point!
it's no big deal I'm ar59 player and i got 2 more acc total now. genshin is just top afterall I can't leave easily i made 2 accounts and it's been almost year or more, one is ar57 second 55
i wish i could like turn based games(only 1 1 can think of that i like is Baldurs gate 3)But i played another one a while back that was great too,But dont remember what it was...That is 2 games n all other i tried makes me sleepy n tired so why is this?
Not sure what the reason could be. I grew up playing a large variety of games so turn-based has never been a problem for me. I hope you solve the issue because a lot of turn-based games have great things to offer outside their combat system that it would be a shame to miss.
@@Kaganath got into divinity original sin 2 and has so far kept on playing...Why i had n still have a hard time playing these are probably mostly due to i cant relax if stuff isnt going a bit faster(but divinity has a fairly action based combat even for a turnbased) Keep on gaming
I couldn't get into that game too which is why I only included in the honorable mentions. Star Rail has been fantastic though, and has definitely exceeded my expectations!
lol no. First Star Rail is as "not free" as Genshin Is. These are actual gambling games and they should be banned all right, or R18 at least. Second, Star Rail is not even Open World and has the very opposite game mechanics. Turn based just like Final Fantasy(s) (and yes, it sucks deep)
There are just not like genshin I guess In terms of budget But they’re there I can give you one this is from a small developer And it’s considered one of the most unique games ever cuz it’s a dating sim as well as a hack and slash dungeon fighting type game It’s weird and fun it’s anime based so there’s a bunch of girls you can simp for and actually start dating them in game through dating missions Which ultimately leads to some special moments after you’ve spent enough time with a specific character. It’s called eternights Hope you enjoy.
currently playing tales of arise, the game is great. Next of the list is code vein and scarlet nexus
I need an update on if you played the others haha
Man I loved tales of arise, the music the graphics the gameplay ticked every box for me.
00:22 Code Vein
02:35 YS IX : Monstrum Nox (thanks @Wally_Labrador)
05:04 Scarlet Nexus
07:33 Honkai Star Rail

it's Ys 9: Monstrum Nox
