I’m from SW PA, In around 2010 I bought a ZF-6 Duramax in Seaman, Ohio. I remember walking into the huge barn and looking at the truck, there was a small room within the barn with a multiple buck mounts. As someone from PA I’ve never seen bucks so big. He then pointed out in the distance and said the Amish buck was shot out there near that tree. At the time I didn’t know what he was talking about and never really looked into it. I remember the guy saying he had over 200 cameras on his over 2000 acre property. At the time I thought that was crazy. Wasn’t until recently that I looked at how big the Amish buck actually was. Whether any of the stuff I was told is true, I don’t know, but the truck was worth the ride out!
Dont know where he got the info that confiscated Ohio deer go threw a woodchipper. But they dont. There is lots of state owned buildings, offices, courthouses and even state own out buildings/barns with Racks in them. Game wardens tend to display them somewhere as their own trophies taken from poachers.
I live right on the Adam's Scioto county line.
