      @CarolinaCoopsVideos I like the idea of the water catchment system. Why I like it is self sustainability. My brother has to water his 50 chickens 3 times a day if it's really hot temperatures. When he does a vacation, my mother has to do the watering, and it's a lot for her twice to three times a day, while she is watching all the grandchildren.

      @@lorimullen3680 Thank you for your answer. Our poultry water system also circulates, so as long as you have electricity nearby, you can use the pump to circulate in the summer to keep the water from stagnating and heating up too.

    I’ve learned so much binge watching your videos and now feel confident in getting started. You guys have been awesome in responding to my emails and providing help for our Christian nonprofit children’s home here in Virginia. It speaks volumes about your leadership at Carolina Coops. One thing I would add is that just like any other endeavor, plan for expansion. In other words if you only want 12 chickens initially, but think you may want more, plan ahead and build a coop big enough to handle the max number of chickens you think you may ultimately have. Your coop can never be too big, but it can be too small. Keep up the good work in educating people like myself.

    On a small scale outdoor product the new material sounds like it makes sense.

      We agree, Acre has also been used in large scale outdoor applications for various companies. Thanks for watching.

    Very informative! The brooder basement and pantry are my two favorite options! Any chance of selling the inside brooder doors to add on to an existing coop?

    I'm a recent subscriber. I've been binge watching. Have you any other custom builds like the massive one in New Mexico? BTW, there's no way I could narrow it down to even 1 or 2 favorite features on your coops. 😊

    I was just wondering if you have ever made a muscovy duck coop. Because muscovys need roosting bars unlike other ducks.

      Thanks for your comments. This coop accommodates up to 24 chickens with free ranging. We do make duck coops, and also a bunny bungalow. We have also made goat houses. The chicken and duck coops and this Carolina Coop in particular can be found on our website, which gives you pricing and options.

      You can see our Carolina Coops pricing on our website, this was also a turnkey installation with extra add-ons which makes the pricing vary widely depending on location.

      @CarolinaCoopsVideos Thank you for sending that link of your website because however I was looking at it before, I was inside a web store & I could only see items like, the roped chicken roost & could not find the actual chicken coop section for pricing. Now I have it.

    Are the coopworx feed Milo's suppose to mimnize feed wasting, as in pulling it out on the ground. I've tried different feeders. Any suggestions?

    • @CarolinaCoopsVideos
      @CarolinaCoopsVideos  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They do help minimize waste. There will also be some drag back on any feeder.
