My brother n I got stuck on the pirate level cause we didn't have a memory card back n could beat the hook minigame, THEN we got stuck again cause we couldn't complete the first jigsaw puzzle so we cheated with the bubblegum power, THEN we got stuck again on the second jigsaw puzzle until i managed to beat it after coming back from school. It was glorious finally beating that fuking Jigsaw.
I remember replaying the first level over and over again when I was a kid because I thought that’s all it was, also I didn’t know how to save games. Then I found out there was another area (level 2) and my brain almost exploded. Kind of a shame I had only ever gotten to the 2nd level.

What I don’t know about this game is that when you run out of lives and continues, the game automatically shows the game over screen and you can’t restart from the last checkpoint if that happens. And you only get a maximum of 5 continues and once you are out of them, you will have to restart the entire level again. I often save my progress frequently this way I don’t have to collect the same items again. The continue limit can also apply to other games as well. Such as new games of kingdom hearts,and many other games.
This game might be the hardest game with lives ever. Here’s some things that makes this game difficult. Combine 3 hit points only with a life limit of only 9 lives max, and add that with fall damage(fall damage in this game can be instant kill), And then combine that with only single jump(luckily lowering the chance of fall damage). All these traits of Jimmy neutron in this game, can make this game very hard for people who aren’t good at video games.
You know, using the secondary fire button on with the pulse light ray allows you to take out bullies wearing sunglasses and destroy the maneating plants with one shot.
Not the ones with sunglasses, just the pirates. The bullies with sunglasses could be taken out using the Goddard shield to deflect the balls they threw. I was literally saying to myself, “PRESS THE SECONDARY FIRE BUTTON,” during the pirate level. I was also frustrated how they kept using the pulse light ray for magnetic levers at first almost every time, I was like, “Do they never learn?”
@3:41:20 That's it, that's the part I never was able to get past and given I was playing with out really understanding nothing of the dialogue (I'm mexican and I was a very young kid back then) I think it should be pointed out that it's a very simple puzzle.

Here is my review of this video game: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Storyline: It is simple, yet creative considering that I am a huge fan of Jimmy Neutron. Though there is one chapter that I think was scrapped, because in the concept art that can be collected throughout the game, there is an image of Jimmy wearing Winter clothing. I think this implies that there was going to be an icy mountain-type of level, but given that this game already has at least 13 levels already, it makes sense as to why it didn't make it into the final cut. But again, the storyline is fun for what it is. ------------------------- Gameplay: While it does get repetitive, I enjoy the fact that this video game is very straightforward and to the point. "Attack Of The Twonkies" is a good game for what it is, but contrary to popular opinion: I am not a fan of stopping every few seconds to interact with the world around me, while also being limited to only so much of the level by comparison. "Jet Fusion" was made before that game, and yet it manages to allow me to explore the way I want to without nagging me to resume the overall goal. It's one of those games that as a kid you struggled with, so when someone who knows what they're doing basically speedruns as they do here, you're not getting a good idea as to the game's actual length. It was the same with one of my all-time favorites: Pac Man World 2. I don't fault the game for not actually being that long because it took me and my brothers over a month at least to finish it
