- "The Daily Show" news team member Jordan Klepper visits "The Issue Is:" studios to talk about his new special & increased role on Comedy Central.
Klepper first joined "The Daily Show" in 2014 and has been a part of several iterations of the broadcast.
We discuss his many visits to Trump rallies, his recent TED Talk, and lessons from both Jon Stewart and Trevor Noah.

I've been starting to see some other channels trying to copy his method and subjects, but they are not quite there.

I actually prefer the current setup. Jon Stewart’s presence is boosting all of them, he does it only once a week and everybody gets to share that spot, not only one person
That would prevent him from doing these on the road bits, which he seems to love.

Jordan IS the best interviewer in the US, nit a pushover, but not offending to people so they talk to him. He truly seems to mean no disrespect to anyone he interviews.

I sometimes wonder how the other corespondents feel. He’s the only who gets invited to the real news programs.
Roy Wood Jr got invited to real news programs too but I think the other correspondents understand it's because of his Fingers the Pulse segments. News media focuses on Trump so much that it doesn't leave room for anything else. So they're going to get Trump elected again and then they're going to act so surprised while they cash those big ratings checks while the country burns.
