I'm impressed, Steve - actor, angler, musician, and aquatic botanist! I sometimes try to avoid the hydrilla. Guess I should learn to fish it. Thanks for the breakdown.

So I've never been clear on what "Hippie Grass " looks like?
I've always thought it was the rust colored bladed grass you see on in shallow water around the Delta.

Boy I thought this would be a snoozer but Great content. Now I know what weeds to fish with what bait👍 Funny I was talking to a biologist at the Marina a couple weeks ago and every time I said hydrilla he corrected me.

This may seem like a little thing, but this is very helpful. I am always wondering what the specific vegetation is that I am fishing.

I’d like to know more about the lilac leaves looking stuff and the stuff I call Witches Hair. Duckweed is my favorite frog water.
Fish it, don’t fish it, What to doh or with if you do.

The primrose is nasty stuff I have an island out on disappointment slewAnd I can't seem to get rid of it But I can say in the summer time The crocodiles love it I pulled chunk out last summer loaded with crawdads And every so often in the evenings I'll hear a big smack from a bass munching on them But yes almost impossible to even punch
