      David O Rodriguez 🇺🇸 It’s great to share the history with your kids. I take both of my boys and my whole family when I can.😎 I missed the shows this year! I love the sight and smell of old iron! Make the trip and enjoy the ride! 🤩

      Thanks! It's too bad not many trucks are saved over the years. Always good to see the much older trucks at this show!

    I've always liked those o cabovers. Not many of them left here in 🇺🇸 nowadays unlike back in the 1980s & down when they were common & popular. Today the only cabovers I see around are garbage trucks, fire trucks, yard trucks, & small box trucks like those ones that furniture companies have.

    I'm sure someone will know. 4:45 is this style cab over called a cracker box? Or does that only refer to the GMC?

    • @twinrodders
      @twinrodders  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Crackerbox refers only to the GMC D/F series cabovers produced from 1959 to 1968.

      teamstr259 🇺🇸 That Pete is just a day cab, I think model 352 or such. They sure look different without the sleeper, but still cool .😳 Cabovers rule! The GMCs had the Crackerbox in both sleeper and day cab...I think from 61 to 69.

    Loved the white Pete double sleeper in the video. What year was it? Looks like late 70's model yr.

      I can't recall exactly what year the owner said it was, but I think it was a 1976

    Отличное видео!Обожаю старые автомобили.Они надёжны как автомат Калашников.В них одно железо,минимум электроники.Эти машины общаются с водителем.Современные авто,это зомби,мертвецы.Проводок где-то надломился,и всё.Эта тачка сдохла.Современный автопром ,это комфортное дерьмо,которое может стать твоей могилой где-нибудь в Сибири или на Аляске,или в Британской Колумбии.Знаю что говорю.Работал на Крайнем Севере в России.Я жил в Новом Уренгое.Ходили по "зимникам" на нефтяные и газовые месторождения,где летом одни болота.У меня был "Урал".Не подвёл ни разу.Всегда привозил домой.
