On a more serious note, we should let BOTH Disney AND Sony know we as fans and consumers that we aren't happy with these shenanigans. The goal isn't trying to figure out who we blame in all this because that's beyond pointless. The focus is the love for this character and the bigger universe he inhabits.
Edit: Well it’s over. It was fun while it lasted. Spider-Man has been double confirmed out of the MCU. I’m not going to lie, I’m probably not going to see the next Spider-Man film, not out of spite but out of lack of faith in Sony. I’ve just been down this road and I just can’t get behind their solo run on Spidey. I applaud their guts to stand up to “big bad” Disney, but I do making their mistakes in their own Spider-Man films, then running to Disney and Marvel Studios in the first place. Just not a good look to me. At least we had 5 good MCU Spidey appearances.

Perhaps when the invading forces are somehow overwhelmed and Captain America is only one left standing against the Area 51 forces(HYDRA). As he prepares to fight them alone, reinforcements arrive through mahic portals and Space Bridges! The fallen invasion forces regroup as well and stand with Cap.
