Anyone else notice how the children are primarily Kei except that the boy has Mutsuki-coloured bun in the back, and how Maeka’s inkling hair is left in the children through Mutsuki. Also there’s a inconsistency: are these newborns or tots? Cause the newborn Maeka in a part of the “Mutsuki the clone” series was all green, but here these kids are grown up enough to be multicolored (I use this phrasing loosely).

About the details... young inklings are actually born as squids and only get human like skin during puberty... so the attention to actual detail is low.

Where did you find such adorable baby inkling models? Every single baby inkling you put in your videos just makes my heart want to explode with adorableness. And especially the details you put into the animation like they're wiggling ears, I especially loved how a little boy's ears wiggled in his sleep. It led to me screaming a bunch of of cuteness overload ramblings followed by a squee of happiness

Does anyone know if it's possible to pitch a story to a splatoon SFM animator? Me and several friends have created a story and thought it would be awesome to see it animated. The story has a somewhat similar plot stylistically to Maeka's story that involves demons, (it's completely original though)
