But what happened then?? Did you end up releasing it back into the wild? I ask because I have a clutch of 11 wild duck eggs from a duck who had nested in our backyard and then got killed - we think by a neighbour's cat. :(
never got around to editing and uploading the rest of the journey, but in short we got him a friend Molly( a swedish blue that can't fly) they grew up, they moved to a live on a property with big yards, there was a pond next to the property that had wild mallards and one day he decided to fly away with the other mallards and dumped Molly. So Molly had to move to a farm with other ducks.
