I love it during an interview Adam said they would send the lyrics back and forth and Adam kept changing his because he felt they were falling short of what Tom was putting down. Adam is a great artist and he grew up in South Side Chicago. The only white boy to make the whole black roster was likely the only white boy in his hood. He's a legit thug. Adam Calhoun is from Michigan I think but he did a lot with Who TF is Justin Time, Upchurch, Struggle Jennings, Jelly Roll - mostly Southern rappers/artists. Adam is legit and him and Tom made an entire album together and this was one of the fun songs but they also had a lot of deep stuff on there too. And Tom posted a picture a few days ago with him and Adam so I'm hoping we got a new Tom and Adam collaboration heading our way soon! Tom has said recently he's been working really hard and new music was on its way! This is like a summer anthem, lol! And the "got a homie that will kill you for a mountain dew" I'm pretty sure is referring to Crypt (reactor/rapper) who he used to have issues with cuz of his beef with Mac Lethal but they squashed it and they are friends now!
