      @@ByteSizedSec -- About 40 minutes into the video! Really excellent work. The way you used PortSwigger to discover the .htaccess bypass was some awesome research

    Another traveler on the Offensive Security Journey?!
    Subbed!
    To be clear, the fact that you're talking about your failures is the reason I'm subscribing. We don't do that enough and I'm god damned proud of you for having the courage to do it so publicly. Keep up the hard work, bro.

      Pain is the biggest teacher. All good things take time to acquire. Some can either call it failure or progress towards the inevitable goal.
      I appreciate your message very, very much! I'll continue putting in the work and make you proud!

    Im firmly convinced that lofi/triphop music is definitely now my go to while working or hacking. Your voice and presentation along with the music, really does enhance and give me a great experience. I really hope your channel gets huge Jimmy. You got a fan and friend in high places for life.

      And bro, don't sweat that OSCP, consider that the practice exam and next time you go in you'll be fully decked in legendary gear from head to toe.

    There is a quotes that goes “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work” well done and soon you will breeze pass the OSCP exam like is just a playground

    Just wanted to say i think the way you addressed your exam results was admirable, I know personally setbacks can really drag me down but seeing you just get right back to practicing is encouraging.
    I feel like I have serious imposter syndrome when I'm studying and practicing and feel like I'll never be good enough to be in this field, but watching your growth has helped me feel more confident in my own. Keep it up man looking forward to the day you drop that video telling us you passed the OSCP,

    • @ByteSizedSec

      This means a lot! Always remember, there is no such thing as failure. Failure is in your head! Just get up and keep up the grind. I felt like that as well in the beginning but I realised the only person capable of stopping me is myself. And I am not gonna let that happen, so I just keep on going! Thank you very much for the comment and the support, Ill be looking forward to your pass too!

    well done you tryed and thats the main! Have you thought about the PNPT from TCM security? its cheaper, hands on and you also get a free retake of the exam if needed

    • @ByteSizedSec
      @ByteSizedSec  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thought about it yes. But they are not the same. PNPT is great, but there is a reason OSCP is what it is and so well regarded. Its the key to the industry..

  • @matrixmunitions
    @matrixmunitions 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you haven’t gone for the PNPT you should look into that.

    • @ByteSizedSec
      @ByteSizedSec  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have looked into that, but maybe later. Oscp is the one. As much as people want to have a cheaper alternative. OSCP is the gatekeeper. It is what it is

    I took tjnull`s list, it is good but you are going to see that there are some machines(no spoiler) out of the scope which should be on the red Column. Try harder and nice videos !

      Unfortunately not no, I'm not sharing those notes because you can see them being taken in the video. I might make a blog with writeups tho eventually..
