Amazing job yet again, did you maybe try godpotato in this scenario? I've always had problems with godpotato not returning fully functional shell (things like whoami would not work etc.) but since RDP is open you could create a user, place him in both Administrators and RDP user groups and log in as that new user?
This looked like a really fun box, a lot more straightforward than i was expecting for an intermediate box tbh. Great work like always, your methodology is getting so smooth and methodical makes it really instructive to follow along with your proces. I probably would have wasted too much time trying to dig into the ftp-admin service you found before figuring out the path was much simpler
Yes I'm liking it too, its becoming quite good, I still tweak things here or there but overall its smooth. My last change was to move in as deep as possible into one port before moving to the next. For boxes like this one, that happened to be perfect. All next videos are gonna be intermediate/hard. Lets see how I do
@dimitriscostea6871 my structure is the following. I have 2 directories. Hack the box and proving grounds. Inside of each i have a folder 'boxes'. If i working on either platform I crate the folders in the directory (that i open with sublime) and also i copy from the template folder the template files and folders into the obsidian directory. Remember, everything within obsidian is a .md file or folder. So it functions exactly as simple linux files and folders. In essence, the entire script is a bunch of 'cp' and 'mkdir'
When you choose « do not update » after updating the name of a page in Obsidian, I guess it means links to this page are now broken right ? Because they rely on the name of the page ?
I think thats what it did too, took me a bit took me a bit of time to figure that out 😅 I just didn't want to break something mid recording but i guess thats correct!
