So many people told me I wouldn't like Koh Samui because it was 'too touristy', yet it was my FAVOURITE place during my Thai backpacking trip and I stayed at Lub D too. The most beautiful hostel I've ever stayed in. Koh Samui was fantastic and I met the most amazing people. The perfect mix of a playful party scene, serenity and culture.

The best trip i have ever had was 3 days/2 nights at a Peruvian jungle lodge on the Amazon River....25 miles up the river from Iquitos, guides to take you around in smaller boats.....saw pink river dolphins, met the Yagua Tribe, who we did a friendship dance with (I will always be a friend to them); played with their kids, and their 3 toed sloth pets....fished and caught piranha, both red-bellied and the bigger black species....did a canopy walk up several trees until you could see over the jungle canopy....hiked into the jungle to meet a shaman at his hut, who cleansed my soul and showed us incredible medicines from the jungle....3 different types of monkeys, one of which played and put on a show at another lodge we went to....450 pound tapir running around the lodge, caymen, tarantulas, lizards, army ants, leaf-cutter ants....children of the town putting on performances during dinner....the most incredible 3 days you will ever spend, and it was very inexpensive, with everything inclusive....
That sounds absolutely amazing and perspective changing :)

@@hugs_xo and that was after i spent 6 months in Cusco, 11,200 feet up in the Andes while i visited Machu Picchu, Sacsayhuaman and all the other Incan sites....the world is an amazing place, so fortunate that we live in a time where air travel gets us anywhere in 24 hours..... ; ) LOVE PHUKET! Kata, Karon, Kata Noi, Surin beaches here on the island are the best!!! Tourists stay away!.....LOL!.....

@@nnkljhiii i went!! And i loved every minute of it. Unfortunately it didnt took long before Covid took over, so i had to go home after a month due a lot of chaos. I dont regret anything, im so gratefull i had this one month!!
@@nnkljhiii as long as you follow your intuition you'll be fine. I feld perfectly safe and met lots of people to go out with. So i wasnt really alone or in danger at all. And as a female alone, its perfectly fine as long as you listen to your feelings :)

Hi Jasmine, beautiful islands and beautiful vlog and so are you. I am also planning to travel to Ko Samui, just one query though, you have taken some stunning Drone shots, did you face any issue regarding Drone permissions in Thailand?
You must know that the hotel where she was ... is in the axis of the runway .. So it was very irresponsible to use a drone at this place where the planes are still less than 600 feet high .. So big advice, if you're not used to flying your drone, do not do it at Chaweng beach in the morning ...
I relate to what you said about being an introvert. I'm an INFJ. I like people but I do need that quiet time for myself to relax and recharge. Plus relaxing for like 30 minutes to an hour during a busy day feels so good for my own mental health.
You should stop by Myanmar 🇲🇲 which is my country!!! There’s slots temple and everything is very similar to Thailand, even food, religious, some festivals!!! There are many beautiful beaches too!!🥰 love you videos so much! :)

Love watching your travel vlogs. When you gogogo, it's tiring for traveling. Especially when not going home after the vacation. It's nice that you took time to unwind. What stresses you out? It seems nice to have the luxury to explore places and not have the financial burdens of work, responsibilities of home ownership, children, etc. Take it easy on yourself 👍

AHHHHHH I stayed at Lub D in Phuket too! I didn’t realise there was one in Koh Samui too! I must check it out because I loved Lub D!
and it's a very good one...But hoping that normal and cheap resort won't disappear with this kind of franchise hotel...
