Its the currency drops for me. More regal orbs is huge. I am able to craft plenty of decent magic items but getting them to rare has just been a huge waiting game.

that "nerf" thing is a lie. GGG is known for looking for avenues to balance and trying not to just nerf.
Sometimes they have to when mechanics are unexpected and end up broken, but they tend to balance through either buffing other things or changing interactions.

These are nice but WTB the change that means I can release when I die in a random area while in a group... stop punishing me for having friends. I understand not letting someone release during a boss fight but I should not have to wait for a res out in the wilds.
