Question about looping on the FLX6 When I when I loop in it’s fine but as soon as set my loop out the sync goes out of wack one track at 98 the other at 98.3 even without sync same issue. Any input?
I might be late to the party, but i had the same issue. Go to RB > Settings > Decks > Looping and reset the settings using the reset button at the bottom, after this make sure the Q icon on your platter graphic in RB is on
@Brittany Dyer I figure it out on serato you need a hot cue but rekord box you need to go into the settings and tick a box which sets it to a set point
When I'm attempting to scratch, regardless of whether or not vinyl mode is on, the samples continuously play even if I'm dragging it back something somewhere is pushing the track forward and I can't figure out what. Let's say I take a 5 second ahhh sample, and try to simply baby scratch with it back and forth at the 2-3 second mark, the track pushes on through to completion at the 5th second even though all I'm doing is going back and forth between 2and 3 seconds. This happens with both rekordbox and serato so I suspect and assume its a physical setting somewhere that I'm overlooking. Any guidance would be significantly appreciated.
@@priyonjoni Dude, thanks for the reply. I love your videos, I bought the FLX6 purely because of you! I setup the vinyl mode in rekordbox as control v short key and have tried with this both on and off. Still the same 😑
Just noticing this only happens when jog cutter mode is ON. if that mode is OFF, I can scratch fine. Any idea why that'd be happening on jog cutter mode only?
To do regular scratching, jog cutter has to be off. Jog cutter is basically an automated scratch feature with different patterns as you rotate the jog. It takes a little getting used to.
@@priyonjoni yes I'm noticing that now. I can't seem to get jog cutter to work the way you do in your videos though when jog cutter is on, it doesn't let me fully control the sample. Just plays on regardless of me pulling it back.

can u use the jog cutter with reg tracks on deck or just with tracks in the scratch bank?
is the jog cutter also working with Serato DJ Pro? :)
i need to learn how to do this
Why does everytime I press th jog cutter it goes back to the first cue point
Do you remember DJ Carlo Atendido? Thats how he looks now. Do you Feel old now?
still getting used to the jog cutter, every time i use it on a track the track keeps playing through...
is it only meant to be used on sampler mode?
@Brittany Dyer I figure it out on serato you need a hot cue but rekord box you need to go into the settings and tick a box which sets it to a set point
Nice trick thank you my master ✌️❤️
Hi sir why cant we use hot cue pads as play button in flx 6 ???
Why would you need to if you have an actual play button?
@@priyonjoni yeah but if d play button wont function properly in future thn atleast using hot cues in can use it as play button . .
Can I use the controller in standard vinyl mode without the jog cutter feature?
Yes. Just don’t turn on the jog cutter.
What are the best fx settings for merge fx on Serato?
Merge FX on Serato are fixed and cannot be changed.
Nice, the more you use this controller do you find it is still really good value for the money? Or still skip and go to ddj 1000
1000 waiting for them to come back in stock at sweetwater.
Cant afford 1000 thsts the issue

Vinyl mode has to be on when you want to scratch or it won’t grab on the jog wheel.

The jog cutter doesn’t even work
