The owner is my friend, every other day he would vanish and they next day would be found 200-300 kms away. Guy also travels 150kms just to have a coffee. The most petrol head guy I know!

I also had similar confusion bw CB 350 and new j series bullet 350. Quality reliability and smoothness highness is good. But me as rider likes low end torque and doesnt like to rev the engine hard and frequent gear changes i have purchased RE . Parts availability also one deciding factor.
I am using this for the past three years.common problem is the wobbling of the handle

Sorry bro , u lost me at the beginning itself when u said u cant experiment with a sp125 oil filter when it literally bears the same part number. Your experience cant be relied upon for prospective buyers.
It’s just that he only takes the bike to big wing for all his service needs. Thank you for confirming that the oil filter is the same as of Sp 125 👍🏻😊.
Hey, using other bike parts can save some money at that moment or in case of any emergency and you are stuck and you need to improvise for the situation. But if you have the time and spare parts availability, why not go with the parts built specifically for the particular bike? 😊
