I'm almost 60 and a complete outsider to the fashion world. I like this collection. I can even imagine that I wear one of these dresses and feel comfortable. The combination of grey and yellow is interesting to me and I have the feeling of softness and elegance.
I think comments like "more black or asian models please" are disrespectful because it takes off the focus from the main star of the show, which is the clothes.
when designers recruit more black or asian models, we'll have "we want to see plus size models too!" comments. black, asian, plus size. what next? albino, aliens, handicapped?
focus on the show and clothes. that's what it is all about. pfft

+I like music and yet the main buyers are from China/Asia. whats your point? diversity is an issue, i dont mind seeing all white models walking in a show but some models cant even walk properly and they are hired just because of the colour of their skins.
I agree, more than %60 of sales are to the Asian market, as far as LV is concerned. Should we not see more Asian models in there shows??? As far as I am aware, we don't hear Asians complaining about diversity. My point being , that it is really boring to always have to read comments about diversity in a fashion show. I am too busy looking at the clothes to notice really. The only time I do notice is when a model can't walk. I find it distracting. Then I see who the wanna- be model is.
I'm an asian myself, and I don't have any beef with the lack of diversity.
I'm just trying to say designers are not obliged to have a diverse choice of models because that's not their main point.
fashion shows are to showcase the clothes and whatever not, and with people picking at why there are lack of POCs/asians completely defeat the whole purpose.

Well, I wouldn't say never. Since his days at Balenciaga, this is his only good show at LV.
I'm in love! Since the first looks and the music reminds me so much of Balenciaga Fall 2012, without the architectural element. There are so many innovative ideas and details in every looks. Captivating, exciting and directional. That olive green slashed jersey suit is amazing! I absolutely love this collection!
I think about this collection every day.
He's brought a touch (or a heavy pinch) of Balenciaga to LV....and it works. Add a dash of Halston and we've got a winner. Those jersey dresses were really something and the drapey suits were a fresh take on executive wear. It was a little retro for my taste (a whiff of the 80's here), but if you dissect the looks there are some incredible pieces in there. I see one of the most beautiful leather jackets I've seen in a long time.

Finally, it's about time! Haven't been able to watch one of his shows since his days at Balenciaga. This one is good. Went back, somewhat, to his futuristic roots. Bravo.

Everyone wants more Black models. I understand, I do too but, there are Asian, Arabic, Latino, Mixed Race etc. You could at least mention them as well. The world isn't black or white, it's shades of grey (or in this case, brown).

Yoda Pusung Yes I agree completely. These models are walking a little bit too fast when, in fact they should be walking much slower. I've watched some Gucci and Chanel shows where they're walking is not too fast but is okay but I guess it all just depends on the music. I'm a model and I always get told not too walk too fast and to slow down so I don't know why these models are walking as fast as they are.

I wonder if people raving over this collection are seeing the same collection I am or if they are saying so because of the brand. I found this difficult to end watching. It was catastrophically inexpensive looking, you can literally put together any of those looks, maybe a bit less, well, unattractive in those 10 dollar chain stores. I just find this hideous. And the age the collection aims is not the age that can afford this type of price tags for the most part.
