Comparing this video with glyph of reaping i would say that glyph of reaping is better for home instance while glyph of industry is better while roaming the world. I currently have reaping and its way faster in home instance, although not so practical out in the world.

You would be correct in terms of speed. However this video was released before Glyph of Reaping was even around.
