    Podcast P shines as one of the better player podcast due to Paul's authenticity, excellent listening skills, and the way he and his friend artfully layer conversations. His genuine approach resonates with listeners. Paul's attentiveness makes guests feel valued, while navigating topics carefully and adding depth to the conversation. Not surprised, Paul was always a good with media throughout his career.

    Loved the segment about Indy’s training staff and military culture. Since 2009 with Danny Granger, Indy has THREE mips, and no other team has had more than one in the same time frame. Hali obviously also being another guy who made a huge jump once he went there. I don’t give a damn about those late fines, that staff clearly knows what they’re doing when it comes to developing stars

    • @gabesoto9301
      @gabesoto9301 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Think about the fact that Jalen Rose and Jermaine O’Neal ALSO won MIP in the early 2000s. 5 players winning MIP on the same franchise within 20 years. Hali was very deserving of MIP this year too. And then even take Sabonis, he got drafted by OKC and played a year there where he was really only a rotational big. He turned into an All Star in Indy. There’s just no denying that they develop talent AS GOOD if not better than, anyone in the league.

    • @eriklakeland3857
      @eriklakeland3857 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Obi Toppin is definitely a contender for MIP next season. That’s a combination of getting a bigger role and the internal improvement that Indy generates.

    Despite on Tyrese getting traded from my kings I am still a Tyrese fan! Still rock his Kings jersey on occasion 🤙🏽. Was sad when he got traded but knew he would shine on his own and make a name for himself! Dude changing the Indy culture

    I could be totally off but I wonder if the Billy guy that PG mentioned that helped on his shot was Billy Keller.
    He played for the Pacers in the ABA and is a local legend cause of all of his basketball camps. Amazing shooter.

    As a Iowa State fan I remember when Tyrese committed. I watched some of his high school games on TH-cam. I was thinking…oh, this guy won’t see the court in Ames. Boi, was I wrong. Not only is he a great talent, he was a fan favorite. I wish we got some time with him. I know Cyclone nation is so proud of him. We love ya Tyrese.

    With Westbrook returning to the Clippers, PLEASE bring Brodie next. I want to listen to his OKC days with the young core, getting the triple double title, going to Houston reuniting with Harden, carrying a Wizards squad to the playoffs, his story with the Lakers and leaving that intense spotlight without having to change cities etc

    I feel like all pro teams should hold the players accountable like P says (military style) a lot of these young players wouldn’t be acting crazy if they got fined left and right for their mistakes.

    aul George is a phenomenal athlete who possesses an exceptional skill set. His versatility, scoring prowess, defensive prowess, and leadership make him a force to be reckoned with. His impact on the court, combined with his determination and resilience, solidify his claim as one of the greatest players ever. I WOULD DIE FOR PG.

    I wonder if it wasn’t for covid how would that 2020 draft be re-shaped there’s definitely a lot of teams regretting their picks especially if it was based off a zoom workout like tyrese said was happening… I mean you got guys like Desmond bane picked 31st, Maxey 21st, quickley 25th and most notably Haliburton at 12!?
