Hi, just curious if the grout lines in your tile had an affect on the mat? Or is the mat thick enough so the grout lines do not affect it? I have tile in my house also.
@@Vince-d6m no impact. It’s a combination of how thick it is as well as non-conforming to the surface. The biggest challenge is finding tiles that are even. But if you can’t you just play the break.
I like the idea of the practice mat, especially if the speed is relatively close to what you normally play on. I think the app has potential as well, but I would need to see more for me personally. I think the speed or power markings are not accurate. Everyone is different in rhythm and tempo. For me personally I got rid of all the unnecessary junk in my head related to technical putting. Basically hit reset and started over. I'm putting phenomenally now. I hit it where I aim and my green reading got better. Instead of trying to "optimize" my stroke based on this coaches opinion or some other "expert". I'm just rolling the ball on the imaginary line I draw in my head with my stroke, not someone else's stroke that I'm trying to copy.
Good points. I think that putting is the part of the game that can be done in so many ways and none of them are the perfect way. It's based on what works well for you. Right now my confidence is so low on putting and I need to get confidence back and not think about anything other than making it. Too many questions still running through my mind even over the ball.
@ChasingTheTour I've been there. I can absolutely relate to that. I played a tournament 2 years ago and about halfway through the round I was lost. I literally couldn't tell which way it was going to break. I was just guessing the rest of the way. Awful feeling. Great putting should be measured by how many putts you hit where you aim with the speed you want. I promise you will miss more great putts than you make. Key in on controlling what you can and forget about the rest. They will start falling as your internal barometer starts adjusting for speed and break. Focusing on makes and misses is a recipe for destroying your confidence. You may roll a great putt that doesn't go in just because you made an ok read. My point is it's not necessarily a stroke problem.
I can tell you mentally after 2 weeks I feel a ton more confident and putting in short ones consistently. My strokes gain isn’t showing a big swing because I’m pulling one more club and hitting the green but 30+ feet out. The three putts are getting my stats messed up. Watch out for the follow up video where I show my results in a couple weeks. Thanks for the feedback.
Pair this mat with the Blast Golf motion sensor TEMPO training. Produces amazing distance control
I have one issue with this idea...... that I didn't come up with it myself!! lol. Such a great idea @greenley77. Thanks for throwing this out there.

@@ChasingTheTour Thank you!
@ you got it. Thanks for asking my thoughts.
I like the aspect that it tells you when you’ve hit it too hard. My biggest problem😂
Totally agree. I think mixing the WellPutt and putting on the putting clock at the course is a game changer.

Great review..how you getting on with it now? Any improvement on the course?
