- The Pungi is an aerophonic instrument, made from gourd, played by snake charmer or nomadic Kalbeliya men folk with their music. Shri Bhanwarnath from Parau village near Balotra is one of the good Pungi player, plays the melody of Zhedar song.

Fun Fact: the pungi is a wind instrument that is played by a snake charmer in India. It was used for religious purposes. The snake charmer would play the pungi while the snake would be hypnotized by its music.
