Why did blizzard think robes was a good idea? Especially with no changes. They were busted against bosses with over 80hp and 3 extra mana.

I can't believe Robes of Gaudiness made it into this mode with no nerfs whatsoever. Can it at least round half-up instead of half-down?
Edit: They removed the Robes entirely from Duels. Who could have possibly predicted that would be necessary...
It's the only treasure that was ever more OP than Captured Flag, and as far as I can tell, they left out captured flag for being too auto-pick. So yeah, them leaving in the robes seems dumb

Yea but if they do to much balancing, the game becomes unfun and just repetetive
dungeon runs were fun because they were chaotic

This minion steals 1/1 from all my minions. So I should either use spells or a single large mini- nah, Imma spam out a ton of weak enemies to buff my opponent to new heights.

@@TorneraFoda He would've had time to get to that part if he wasn't feeding the enemy. And that part would come sooner if he didn't buff the health of the enemy minions. All he needed were 2 aoe spells, but buffing the health of enemies turns that into needing 3 aoe spells and taking damage faster. If you got the choice between doing nothing or helping your enemy you improve your odds of survival by doing nothing.
@@SH4D0W0733 Every time it would take 3 aoe spells to atleast kill the first one, he would be so behind that he wouldn't be able to do anything, he could have atleast highrolled something in the totem thingy that uses random spells

Just like in arena. If you get past 10 wins, it wasn't you who did it.

That's confirmation bias, the spells seem to be (slightly) positive on average. For example all the secrets and draw spells as well as "enemy-only" damage spells are always an upside.

Trumps way of playing makes him have more more minions of small size. Most spells of that cost just deal damage to a minion, friend or foe. So very often the spell just damages one of your minion
Might be more like, ~33% positive, ~33% negative, ~33% wash, but a wash is kind of a negative when you play a card and expect it to do something.
Playing against trick totem? Don't clear it, because the odds favor you... right?

Classic trump getting me to yell “stop trading” over and over again.
I've watched almost every video Trump ever put out, but this one fueled the rage like none other. He crafts this ultra cool deck entirely predicated on throwing spells at the enemies' face and then he tries to play it exclusively like a control deck that overkills minions by 4 damage with spells.
i had exactly those two passive treasures with mozaki and went 12-0. definitely OP

I came up against a dude the other night who ALSO drafted his deck perfectly around the "set attack equal to health" treasure. In his case, it was a lot of eggs. A lot of them.

I feel that if you pick Blade of Quel'Dalar, you should be guaranteed to receive Hilt of Quel'Dalar the treasure after next. I'm looking at Monster Train for my rationale on this one.

Real problem with this deck is how inconsistent the draws were; it's either feast or famine.

I know it's just screaming into the void but: This still being "in development" I hope Blizz removes Robes from the pool. Not just nerf it, remove that thang. It's the epitome of anti fun.
It's the treasure with which I have, to date, not lost a single dungeon run with. It's fine in PvE, give the player an "auto win" (yeah, you still have to have a working brain, but it really makes it easy) from time to time. Sure, I feel you. But in a "competitive" setting it has no place.
It's like giving any class the ability to play ramp druid who always gets his ramp cards on curve, for free.
Maybe statistically it isn't even "that" broken a treasure since you get it that late. Maybe, lets say, ~50% of the decks that pick it have to much small stuff in them and loose right after picking it. But the rest will dominate. As a result you'll play past 9 wins only the decks where it works and for those it's to depressing to play against.
That DH opening is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.

wow, broken game mode in hearthstone, never seen that one before. hate playing the game but fun to see you try em out! if this gets balanced it might be fun. Looks more interactive than battlegrounds which is a big plus

they should put robes back, but make them work for both you and your opponents, so it is a fun treasure that speeds up the game while being good with big minions, but you can occasionly run into an opponent that has expensive cards and lose because of it...
it should also be nerfed, at least rounded up, not down like someone suggested in the comments already
