That dry weather we had done the same thing here. I went 16 days without a drop of rain. It really took a lot off the second cut in most of my fields. But no rain did help on weed control . But that's the only good that come out of it. Really hoping this third cut will be better. I've got a 5e tractor also and it's probably been the most dependable tractor I've ever had i bought it new in 2012 and the only thing I've done to it is replaced starter one time im a little over 2500 hours know and it stays on a hay cutter all threw summer. I got mine with the 9 3 trans and it's probably the best thing I ever did. Simple and dependable
I think you’re 💯 right on the second cutting. Mine had just started back growing when the drought hit us, and it’s bounced back some, but not really what I hoped for. I almost wish I’d cut again when right before we started getting rain again.
I may not agree with others viewpoint, but that doesn't mean anyone should stop them from it, unless they are being questionable with their language. It's a real art to keeping a bale shaped nicely with narrow windrows when you don't have a monitor that indicates side to side level. My old NH 654 had manual indicators and my JD450E doesn't, but my son and I are pretty good with keeping that in check. Good job on getting it done, they are some nice bales. Thanks for your sharing and opinions, I hope you have a good week.
Good job Ben, I have watched you do a lot of things on that John Deere, it seams to me to be a great tractor for y’all, my wife prefers John Deere, I like them as well but I prefer my Kubota
We had a hot and dry couple of weeks recently. Lots of hay was cut and baled during it. We’ve gotten some good rain these last few days. Hoping for a 3rd cutting also. Great video as always!🇺🇸🙏
It’s looking thin Ben, but it’s sure looks nice, you’re going to have to break down and get you more comfortable set for the John Deere if you’re going to using it because I see more and more on it, God Bless
im glad that john deere is doing good for you. i still think they look like the rear tires are to small on them.. lol..and your def right the censorship is stronger than ever every where.
You better believe censorship is real you are to see the comments that I get that's it held in review you really got to have a thick skin to do this TH-cam great video God bless

If it's anything like north Alabama, it's been so dry a 2nd cut is a waist of time and fuel.
It’s definitely not where it should be. Thanks

That's why don't get into politics that much. Because of people and their comments. At least you got some hay out of that little bit cutting

If you don’t mind me asking, how much was that canopy? Is it a factory John Deere one?
It’s a factory Deere one, I believe it was around 6-7 hundred. Cheapest I could find since I didn’t have to pay shipping. Thanks for watching
