That was the thing that he feared: never being able to fulfill his only purpose by destroying Sonic. But now, when he has all this power, he's no longer afraid of Sonic.

It’s that or he can only speak via scripts, but the last bit of the chaos energy pretty much makes him able to not follow that script, he can freely speak, hence why we only see him speak in certain games like sonic generations, Becuase his coding prohibits him from talking in most cases

I loved the dialogue between Sonic and Metal Sonic during the final battle. The music really made it one of the more tragic, deeper and memorable boss fights I've played.

Not just that, the entire audio of Metal transforming also got leaked. You can hear just how much Ryan's roar got amplified by whatever effects were applied to it, because the raw voiceline is... Eh.
