I lost my mother seven years ago and I'm going get married in less two weeks and it pains me that my mom won't get that experience or see when my sister get married or grandkids it the thing I struggle with the most knowing but we are have to accept those tough realities and if you believe that life continues you have to know their life isn't over. I feel for Vanessa but hopefully she focuses on what she still have in her other daughters. I think that what death should teach us appreciate the love ones you have because you never know when that time will come
god bless her. i lost my sister to a drunk driving accident she was only 16. she would be 24 now 😢 i cant imagine whats its like to lose a child. my mother knows all to well. i have a 4 year old i wish my sister got to know my daughter. god bless the bryant family. i relate

Whew....from someone who lost their baby at 3 hours old and it almost KILLED me emotionally....i couldn't imagine losing my child that i knew for so long, as well as my husband. WE MUST PROTECT VANESSA AT ALL COSTS!!! SHE IS A STRONG WOMAN!!

I can’t imagine. I cried the whole time she spoke about her daughter, I can’t imagine having to do such a speech. She is so strong because there is no way I could have stood there and talked about my child like she did. I have followed her for years on Instagram and seen all her posts of her girls, I felt like I had been seeing GiGi grow with what she shared, so as a mom it’s heartbreaking seeing this.

Hearing her speak of Kobe makes you remember that he wasn't just a famous basketball player, that he was a person with a family that he obviously loved very much and who loved him as well. They will all go on, they have to, but their lives will never be the same. All the money in the world won't heal their pain, only time.
It's one thing for her to get to the podium to share her heartache with the world, but it is so amazing that she got through the entire speech!! The part that got me the most was when she asked Kobe to take care of Gianna, and she assured him that she had their kids on earth. Heart wrenching!! I pray for continued strength and love for the Bryant family!

It has been four weeks, but it still feels so unreal. I know I'm just an anonymous fan, but I have followed Kobe since 2000. These enormously emotional speeches help me accept the fact that this is all true. And I know I've got it easy, my thoughts go to Vanessa and her daughters. This is horrible.
