Travelled Cph-Santorini and boat Santorini-Ios July 6/7 - 20/21 in 1993. Maybe we were on the island at the same time. The same 2 weeks all three years. 1994 during the world cup in USA, we had the best trip. In 1995 we took the long boadtrip from Athens instead.
I was there on the island but did not attend any parties as my great auntie who was travelling with us got stung by a giant wasp and had to go to hospital. She recovered but died two weeks later in an unrelated jellyfish incident.
I was in a club in London in elephant and castle called ministry of sound when I herd this first. There was a man dancing on a long table black man with red and white stripe trousers and yellow shirt The room had really tall daffodils ( flowers ) maybe 10 ft high mate what a night it took me a year and a half to find this tune again
An absolutely fantastic track. It truly takes you on a bit of journey which is quite rare for a tune like this, but it nails it. If a DJ is worth his salt he will sample some of this in a new track for the summer.
