    The Rams DL is dynamic and we haven’t had that kind of speed in a long time.

    I dont know if there are many things to learn. People forget that we usually dominate the Rams, and we were the NFC Champs. The Super Bowl the Rams won was because of a dropped INT, with a paid for roster.
    Not saying there are no good points, but we didnt lack success because we were doing things wrong, or the system we played. We lost because of 7 Pro Bowl players being broken and we were relying on guys who played very little to no football to keep the sinking ship from drowning, like the rams aint on their 7 string running back. The Rams got the spot simply because the Rams have a team full of players that are working together for more then one season. Remember they were trash after everyone of their stars left post Super Bowl. We just need time to gel.
    The 49ers will take their spot next year where we belong. Nothing to learn here, we need to simply stop shooting ourselves in the foot, and we would have 7 SBs by now

      @@Ken49ers_ Yep, 2-0 against a team with 13 injuries, 7 Pro Bowlers and 4 All Pros out, and 1-0 in a game we benched our starters because we clinched the NFC 1st rd bye a week prior.
      But who cares about details right, even fully loaded the Rams usually survive at best, but its not because Kyle got outcoached. Lets be clear about that

      @omnione12 we can name teams that dealt with injuries and they find ways to win so it says more about Kyle and lynch sure they aren't responsible which he did say for the season

      @@Ken49ers_ Okay, show me a team that lost 7 Pro Bowlers, 4 All Pros, 1 OPOY, 5 RBs, and made the post season? You speak as if that has nothing to do with the outcome of the season friend. But give me one team.
      Even the Lions lost 22 players, but go look at who they lost, 5 of them were DT alone, only one was a Pro Bowler (aiden) ,
      I didnt See Sewell out - Trent Williams
      I didnt see Amon Ra out- Aiyuk
      I didnt see Gibbs out- CMC
      I didnt see Montgomery out- Mason
      I Didnt see Kerby playing with one hand - Huff.
      They lost 6 starters, only ONE irreplaceable, how many did we lose?
      But give me one team and I will concede to you and say you have a point.

Tired of the endless talk of looking for a star bookend to Bosa as some kind of silver bullet. We need waves of young, athletic, dynamic, energetic lineman well coached in basics starting with gap control and responsibility.

    After watching games this year, the number one priority for drafting defensive players, find players who can TACKLE! Tired of watching 3 or 4 defensive players dancing with a ball carrier who goes another 4 or 5 yards for a first down!

  • @greglyon1402
    @greglyon1402 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    One year Rams are up and the next year it’s the Niners. Back and forth. Yes, D line is the priority, but at eleven, the Niners need to grab elite talent that falls and address needs thereafter. If Carter, Graham, Johnson, McMillan fall, you grab one of them. Warren moving up might push on of them down.

    But it's also the scheme. I hope whoever the Niners new coordinator is will be able to effectively scheme this unit to success. Every level of the defense has a star player so the scheme is very important. But IMO I would rather have a olineman to solidify the inconsistencies of the offense. Better offense will help the defense as well. Just my opinion

    Pretty simple, sack the QB. I saw many teams come into the playoffs with low energy and they’re all out.

  • @proteuswest1084
    @proteuswest1084 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

    I don’t disagree with the idea that an investment in DL is important, but it’s not the message I’d take from the game. We missed on several DL we did take in the draft so we started addressing it more in free agency, so just looking at who we draft recently isn’t giving the whole picture.
    What we should learn from the game yesterday is how effective, but also how risky, odd man blitzes can be. The best defenses out there typically blitz at pretty high rates and they’re not afraid two extra guys or more. We really don’t do that and our DL isn’t getting home with 4 near enough to disrupt the QB. Minnesota got outblitzed, from LB, from safety, and the fumble was forced by a CB. When Minnesota blitzed, Stafford knew where to go and quick released it out.
    We haven’t been a big blitzing team with our scheme but there is a shift in that metric that we haven’t caught up to, and hopefully that’s the lesson our coaches will take from it.

    I am in total agreement with you, Matt...which is rare, however, trust Kyle which I don't and many people don't. But he is up-close to these players more than you and I.....he even know their toilet habits...and we don't.....through "smoke n mirrors" Sam Darnold have habits that when he gets in these habits performs like this in games.....and Brock doesn't....Kyle seen it and knew about it and tried to correct it as much as he could......but Sam has these habits....he like Brady need protection....but on of his faults "hanging on the ball too long" Brock and Tom Brady don't....they get rid of the ball quickly! Darnold doesn't. The one thing that bothered me about The Vikings among many,.....was how were they protecting their QB....and I questioned their defense. I still believe this until the day I die....which can be any day now....that Kyle allowed The Vikings and several teams to beat hi and the 49ers because the 49ers appeared poorly coached and very sloppy with the ball ....missing tackles and throwing interceptions....and most of all....THE 49ers LOOKED LOST out there on the field like that had no game plan and didn't know what they were doing!!!! And I am 70. I am not stupid.....I have seen when the 49ers are prepared!!! So, You and me are not in the locker room after the loss in the SuperBowl....so we don't know what was said to the players by Kyle Shanahan, but it wasn't pleasant. And it set the tone for the problems and injuries that seem very sketches to me and other analysts in the league and bad bad Karma.....which also happened after the 2019 loss in the SuperBowl to The Chiefs!!!!
