Diana’s heart is in the right place for wanting to keep child out of the game but what she doesn’t realize that it’s already in the game just by being a St.Patrick and a Tejada and as much as people talk about how Tariq and Brayden are like ghost and Tommy I feel we’re seeing Tasha’s story being retold through Diana because if you remember Tasha originally wanted to be a singer and was in accounting school but she got with ghost and she got in the game and quit school and I feel like we might see the same thing with Diana
@tiffaniclements3490 Yes, and also remember that in Diana's character description for the season, it says she is going to end up becoming the person she didn't want to be: HER MOTHER!
@@tiffaniclements3490 This is why I like "Raising Kanan"-If Raquel went One on One with Zion, she would have told him about those hands and NOT Have Backed Down.........There is the show "Chicago PD" in which Michael Ealy's cop character reminded me a bit like Hank Voight......Disapppinted that he(Ealy's character) appearing dirty.......That should be temporary(I Hope it is a cover) in that getting his arrest.....Plus In All The Power Shows can there be any good law enforcement????
This episode didn't feel like a mid-season finale, but you guys made a valid point about the possibility at the time of filming canceling the show wasn't an option. I was a bit deflated with the acid trip Tariq was on. Y'all know how badly I wanted to see Omari come thru and knock Tariq in the chest with those oranges 🍊 😂😂😂. I'm gonna let my dream scene go😂. Anyway, the thing I am most worried about is now Kamal. I can't stand the way they keep underestimating him. I want him to lead his own investigation on Det Dual Carter and win. I don't want to see him get got. Monet is going to get tired of paying Carter 35% of her earnings, but she can keep a degree of protection with the duality of Carter's character. However, Det Carter nor Monet can be trusted. As far as Tariq and Carter, Tiffani, I can see the taskforce needing to know who the top dog is, however, I believe there is more to Carter's disdain towards Tariq, but what is that? I can certainly see that aspect being Carter's downfall. You are correct Cane has mommy issues and is still seeking validation. It was so evident when he looked up at Noma. I do like that they are leveling him up a little, but I truly hope we see him become his own man. Noma and Davis are this season's resident Thotties 😂. I feel like they are diminishing Noma, Davis, Zion, and Effie this season. We saw Noma come in strong by cutting off the hand of a woman and deleting she and her fiance over a ring. How is it that Noma allowed Lil Orphan Effie to walk out of that room? I'm mad that we still have no background on Effie's character to understand her moves better. Zion was introduced as the big bad, but honestly compared to the other fights we saw, the fight between Zion and Cane looked like a fight of two kids on a playground 😂. I wanted more. Zion being reduced to brass knuckles pissed me off. I did like Tariq seeing his son by Diana, where they are taking their story is unknown. In a previous review I mentioned that I disagreed with Tiffani for the first time about Diana getting deleted, I am now taking that back😂 she may get deleted to help usher in Tariq being an Apex Predator. Everybody is getting the hands with the Spot receiving the gameball this go round. Great review ❤
I will give the game ball to Bradon for thinking fast on his feet with Zion and telling Tariq about himself and a dishonorable mention to Monet for continuing to be a master manipulator with Dru and Diana.
Great review, you all. I am with you. This didn't feel like a mid-season finale I guess I was expecting something big twist to happen. I believe it is an interesting direction they are heading for in the second half. I honestly don't know how the Tariq and Diana relationship is supposed to work similar to Effie I don't see how they will be able to trust each other. Tariq is definitely playing with fire, messing with Norma's daughter, smh and Norma is being messy fooling around with both Davis and Cain. Det Carter twist I found a bit interesting in which it's similar to the wire(season 3 the police trying a different approach to the drug war by electing to ignore it) his plan has merit but I don't think they will go in that direction also a Carter vvs Tate standoff would be interesting.
Braden folded like cardboard in a warehouse 😂 but he still solid. And I love Tariq and Braden relationship, it's real siblings Vybz, they have a drag out argument and still cool with each other l.
Here are my predictions for lights out next half of the season: Dru, Effie, Norma, Carter, Davis, Braydon's Girlfriend, Baydon's Sister, and Monet will go to prison.
Ain’t no way Cane should’ve lasted a minute in that cage. Zion a true cage fighter, cane a street fighter who fought bums. That cage fighting is MMA, enough said
I'm surprised some didn't get the episode and why it's called."Ego death" for a reason. Because alot of egos in this episode got checked and got a reality check
Outlandish predictions for fun: --Tasha finds out from Effie about Diana giving up the address and kills her before knowing she's pregnant with Tariq's baby --Monet kills Tasha as revenge for her and Diana and gets locked up --Dru doesn't die and continues in the drug game in the high-end art world where selling art is a front for drug money laundering --Ghost comes back and we discover he's been in Cuba all this time, remember he's fluent in Spanish. --Power moves to Miami and stars Tommy and Tariq with Ghost not far away
Hi Tiara, Tiffany & Ronald✨ *Monet & Tariq want their way regardless of the consequences to others, but Monet is much more heavily criticized for her decisions. *I think Cane will either 🚫Noma or run business with her in England. *Noma will black widow Davis. 😂 ☄️Only Diana for wanting to exit & save her baby from the crime life. 👋🏼👋🏼 *Brayden for running off at the big mouth to Elle like Tommy did with Holly. *Elle for drugging Tariq. *Tariq for constantly making bad choices & selfish decisions, then being unaccountable for his actions. Tariq admitting to being like Ghost will only allow him to justify his psycho behavior, and “wanting a kid” is more about hood dude ego, NOT RAISING CHILD or BEING A PRESENT DAD. This episode gets a 7/10 from me. ✨See Ya Good Folks Soon!
I think Monet gets more criticism because she is a half a century years old or very close to. We expect more from her as we should. Regardless of how smart Tariq is...he is still a dumb ass teenager at the end of the day. And like most teenagers, he thinks he has it all figured out and he is furthest from the truth. If anything, I think people expect too much from him sometimes. Then to be like his father, a damn narcist, makes it that much worse. So he will just have to learn the hard way unfortunately.
@@tdomonique504 Naw, young or not [Raquel, Tasha, Monet, Noma, Claudia, Liliana, Jukebox, Diana, Effie…] get dragged far more harshly than the males [Ghost, Tommy, Tariq, Kanan, Cane, Drew, JP, Darnell, Marvin, Lou… etc] for far smarter choices. That fight scene was the most unrealistic shit I’ve seen in my life. Zion a prize winning fighter and this fool off the streets comes in and beats him. Very unbelievable but a lot of things this season have been a little far fetched.
LMAO 🤣 All these episode 5 death predictions! The jokes on yall!!! 🤣 That Tariq in Truth scene that everyone was hyping up was weak as hell!!! I actually like Carter! He's a deranged, depressed, hypocritical murderer! He fits in perfectly in the Power Universe!😂 Oh yeah by the way, Noma is a 304 and so is Anya! Like mother like daughter. Lol 😂 Tariq is dumb! Now he thinks he's going to protect his family by getting deeper in the game amd being on top!SMDH Am I wrong for not caring if he goes to prison or dies at the end? And I could have beaten Zion in that ring. That fight was way too easy! But to keep it real, the episode was kind of a let down for a mid season finale. This season is just way too rushed. This show needs at least another 2 seasons to end properly. But I guess that's why they'll probably make another spinoff!🙄
