What happens is they don’t want to talk to the adults but they don’t check their friends who need to be helped or checked on behavior. 2john tried to help his boy but the methods used might be questionable but don’t dare call it snitching. Integrity comes into play too.

So glad my favorite review team is reviewing "Cross"!!! Loving the show. Elle was happy to have her man (not Detective Alex Cross) with her at the party. Their relationship is growing and she may heve felt this was a strong step in the right direction. She was also excited to have Alex supporting her as she prepared to give her pitch. I feel she was justified in her response and feeling that her man had used her for his purpose. She may have felt he was more focused on the work and not her or their relationship. Tough situation all around when dealing with the fact they were in the home of a seriously deranged serial killer. Ron is still my guy but he was tapping on the line when he said Elle needed to calm down her emotions. Loved the spirited banter and the insightful discussion. 😊😊😊

Ron is all the way off. Alex definitely should’ve told Elle. I mean she was the one that introduced him to the weirdo to begin with so that shows that they have a relationship. I’d definitely tell my girlfriend who’s close the psycho that he’s a psycho but Alex went into work mode.

Cross is so good. I binged it yesterday. Y'all had me cracking up during your debate with Ron😂. The guy playing Ed Ramsey is doing an incredible job he is so believable. I grew up in DC, and this show has me craving Ben's Chili Bowl😂. I live in PA now and am seriously thinking about driving 2 hours out to get it. Great review as always❤❤❤

Great to see you all back at it! I'd like you all to consider reviewing "Supacell" on Netfix. The main storyline is much like that of the CW scifi drama "Black Lightning", but takes place in South London focusing on an ensemble who individually discovering super powers but are tied together through genetics. Also, Deon Cole's "Average Joe" is absolutely incredible! It is not what you initially expect as it becomes an "Ozark-like" adventure. My two cents. Live Anacostia!

I love the show. I've seen the first two episodes, and I do appreciate that you are only reviewing one episode at a time. I am from DC, and it was really good to see familiar parts. When they said Tavio was from Mayfair, I chuckled because I grew up in Kenilworth, which wasn't too far from Mayfair. My best friend grew up in Mayfair. I loved the interrogation scene. I love that they have made the psycho a blonde haired blue-eyed boy next store type. The fanboy scene was good, too. I felt Alex Cross was slipping in that scene because the way the psycho approached was suspect. He has several helpers, and I can't wait to see why these others are involved. There is a woman directly involved. I'm thinking it's either the woman Alex is dating or the lady Alex asked to track Tavio's phone. Great review as always❤

Morgan Freeman was Alex Cross first then Tyler and now Hodge. Which was a great choice

James Patterson the author of the books. Said he only wants Alex Cross to be black in a recent interview which is why he hasn't allowed a movie to be made since Tyler Perry version Which he says Tyler didn't get a fair chance at the role . And when the person broke into cross house to put the scarf back and take the pic out the daughter room. U notice the person is a woman .

Folks are forgetting that Alex Cross was first introduced to the screen through the character interpretation of Morgan Freeman in "Kiss the Girls" and "Along Came a Spider". Freeman easily captured the intellectual aspect of Cross, but not the complexity of his personal life and his DC born and bred baseline. When "Kiss the Girls" hit the screens back in 1997, I thought Avery Brooks or Samuel L. Jackson would have been better fits for the role of Alex Cross. As a reader of the Cross book series, I believe that the showrunner (Ben Watkins) and writers have done a great job of including the DC background/backstory as close to accurate as possible AND stay true to the Alex Cross of the book series. Aldis Hodge is perfectly cast as the brilliant complex and conflicted Alex Cross, and Isaiah Mustafa as John Sampson is a reliable complement to his childhood friend and partner. This series has the potential to run a number of years with the number of Alex Cross novels out there. Let's go!!!! P.S. The character Alex Cross is black. The author of the Cross novels, James Patterson, is white.

Tariq felt like with Noma outta of the way that Tariq could be the King of New York. Tasha did tell Tariq that he could be bigger than James Ghost St Patrick . Tariq need to be called Phantom instead of Ghost because Tariq is making more of Tasha Green moves than James Ghost St Patrick moves.

Love this show!!! Morris was the perfect addition to this season after Michael Ealy. Corey and Jax had amazing chemisfry. The scene of them smoking cigars together was one of my faves. Hoping the show gets a 3rd season. Morris has a new series, so doubtful he's available for Season 3. And shout out to the DOPE song selections in each episode.
