For real, my friend, any time I need help figuring out how to do something in CK I almost ALWAYS come to your channel and look up the tutorial for it. ^_^ you have no idea how much you've helped me. Thank you for creating them. Your tutorials are a thousand times more helpful than the Creation Kit site.
I'm a HUGE fan! I've been learning from your modding videos for nearly a decade. You're an AMAZING teacher and I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work that you put into teaching the rest of us how to mod. This is NOT an easy topic to learn, but you manage to break it down into simple parts that are easy to understand and your explanations are great! Thank you so much! If you aren't already working as a full time college coding professor - you should be. Your future students will thank you! KUDOS!
Great video, used it many times in other builds and works perfectly. This time however I must be messing something up. Every time I try to head to my cell thru the door I CTD nearly instantly.
This was a great tutorial, but I'm having problems with names. I created my own inn and used this tutorial to learn how to use load doors. When I'm inside the inn and look at the load door, it says Skyrim and underneath that it says Open. However, when I'm outside attempting to enter the Inn, the door simply says Open, with no name displaying where I'm actually entering even though I can still go in and out of the tavern just fine. How do I set up the name for the exterior door?
I'm trying to set up an Autoload Door (the "Door that isn't a door" that is used at cave entrances and such), but when I try to link the teleport, it doesn't give me the "Landing zone" marker. Is there some special trick to make these work?
How do you make the cave entrances where you load if you just approach the entrance or exit? (Edit) Also, how can you make it so, say, a Dwemer button teleports the player somewhere else within the cell (Similar to the Great Lifts, but instead of loading a new cell, it just moves you up to a new floor)
I'm trying to activate linked (hidden) doors with a button. The doors are responding to button presses (opening and closing) and will teleport the player if they're activated directly. However, the buttons won't access the teleport feature of the doors to load a cell. Can anybody help with this? Maybe I can make the buttons directly teleport the player without linking them to hidden doors? Also, I haven't been able to figure out how to make the doors non-activate-able. They should ONLY respond to button presses.
Not sure if anyone can answer this but I cannot find anything on the web about this particular problem I am having. This problem is pertaining to load doors, I have created a worldspace and put a farmhouseloadingdoor in both tamriel and in my worldspace and have linked both together so that I should be able to pass back and forth. The Problem I am having is that my load door is not even showing up or appearing in tamriel in the spot I am placing it. Does anyone know why this could be ? I have literally been stumped for days, I have re watched the tutorials literally 50 times lol, it's so simple I am doing everything I am supposed to be doing (to my knowledge) but it is just not appearing... any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated !
did you ever find an answer to this? whenever I have placed my doors, then linked the door by selecting the interior door with 'select reference in render window' I get the marker, move it into place, then double click to view door reference for door marker (in the cell i placed it) it loads up a random spot near whiterun (my outdoor cell was near riverwood) and when i navifate to the door i used it has no marker, and then when I go to the interior cell again the teleport marker is gone
@@TheDudiest3Dude no i never got to the bottom of my issue I literally couldn't figure out nor understand why I was having so much trouble. I feel like I was doing everything right but it just wasn't working thus I gave up on creating my world space and project which saddens me but I dunno what else to do :/. I truly hope you can find a solution though and if you do I'd be interested to know what you did differently, as I said I followed the guide to the t 50 times it's literally so simple of a step but it just wasn't working for me...
I linked cells for an inn farmhouse I placed, but every time I exit, I spawn under the porch. No clue why, I raised the teleportation indicator higher and it doesn't seem to do anything. Course no one will look at this and it's an obscure question, but what the hell
If anyone can help me... I’m having a weird clipping issue in game with custom door markers i.e. it’ll do everything in its power to send my player character into oblivion. I’ve grounded it, even moved it to flat ground and I’m still getting this issue. Any ideas on what it could be would be grand.TIA!
4:00 is the door marker connection to the navmesh. Open navmesh, click the triangle under your door marker, click the checkmark, close the navmesh and save. If it doesnt seem to work at first uninstall the mod and save then enable the mod again

Once again another great tutorial. I am starting to feel like I am repeating myself.
Thank You so much for this tutorial. Congratulations for your channel.
Bro thank you so much. I had no idea the doors were linked for followers via Navmesh. This is super helpful.
well I knew it had something to do with navmesh but I didn't know it was finalizing.
Thanks for another great Creation Kit tutorial.

Fixed it. It was an issue with the location ref I gave it.
Legend!
what a beast.
Thank you!

But what if I want to use a carriage to get to a new world that I’m making also it needs to be initiated by dialogue

My window doesn't have the "teleport" tab.
