This is Harvey and his abandonment issues. Right there! I think sure he loves Donna, but I am not sure he is in love with her. He is tired of people leaving him and he just doesn't want to lose the loyalest member of his tribe.
He is in love with her, and has been for quite some time, but is petrified of making her his woman because it would be all or nothing, and the last woman who had that much power over him was his mother who destroyed him in ways he was still struggling to recover from. His relationship with Donna wasn't dysfunctional because they were so close, it was dysfunctional because they were as close as lovers but Harvey wouldn't pay her a lover's due. He could have attached permanently to Paula, seeing as he was using her as an emotional hiding place to "make the world go away", but the world can't go away forever, and Harvey had to accept that.
@@singhisking768 she did not. She wanted more, and he didn't even ask for it. He said her working for him was more important than a relationship, and Donna was clearly crestfallen but took him at his word because she knew he wasn't ready and begging would do nothing. Harvey loved her, and he knew she loved him back. He knew, and he still wouldn't budge for the longest time. It wasn't her fault.
Lol Donna was not present in his life for a time and that time he dealt with that abandonment issues. He has told her he loved even before she left. Then why did he have no problem with Paula leaving?
Donna once chose Harvey over her boyfriend. It’s the other way around in here when Harvey chose Donna over Paula. The love was always there; they just didn’t make a move until it was almost over. The parallels in Suits are truly wonderful.
I love Harvey so much... But I love Donna more. So sometimes I think he doesn't desserves Donna. She fights so hard to protect him and hide her feelings and he always reacts bad, make her suffer, and apologize last. So selfish. Stay away from my baby :(

He loves Donna you can tell he does and I'm sorry but Paula was an idiot if she couldn't see that he was in love with Donna it's all over his face and she was stupid if she honestly thought that Harvey was going to choose her over Donna if you know Harvey he's always going to choose Donna! this proves right here that Paula doesn't know Harvey has well has everyone likes to think she does because if she did she would've known that Harvey was going to end up choosing Donna in the end and that there relationship was never going to last. Plus she kinda put Harvey in a bad position she gave Harvey an ultimatum that if he didn't choose their relationship was going to be over so she kinda forced Harvey to pick and no offense I don't blame Harvey for choosing Donna because she's been in Harvey's life for 13 yrs where Paula's only been in his life a yr and who is Paula to decide rather or not Donna gets to stay at Specter Litt? if I remember correctly she's not Donna nor Harvey's boss so she doesn't get the option to tell Donna she can't stay there. I honestly don't feel bad for Paula and very happy that this relationship is finally over and hope Paula is gone for good this time. She was a waste of a character and don't honestly see what her point was in the show other then getting Harvey to forgive his mother.
HarveySpecter Fan I agree, and I think she should not have got involved with Harvey in the first place knowing that they got introduced because Donna left him and he started having panic attacks. I understand his issues are deep down related to his mother but she is therapist for god sake, she should have been able to see that Donna is not replaceble. Lastly, I am not therapist and all but even I know that giving ultimatum never work not just on Harvey but on anyone. It just proves that you are weak and in the long term you are gonna keep doing that to make your point.
Exactly! Maybe I'm a bad person but I just don't feel bad for Paula I just don't I was honestly looking forward to their breakup have been for awhile and when it got to this scene and Harvey told Paula that he wasn't firing Donna and then started giving her the breakup speech I was like yes my prayers have been answered there finally getting rid of this woman. This entire relationship was honestly a joke anyways and saw no point in this entire storyline with Harvey and Paula guess it was something to pass the time until the writers figured out the whole Donna & Harvey situation. Besides for someone who was a therapist for a living she sure was an idiot I mean seriously it's one thing to be upset about Donna kissing Harvey cause I admit that was messed up of Donna knowing Harvey was seeing someone but to go has far has giving Harvey an ultimatum and telling him to choose between her and Donna or there relationship was over was messed up, have to be realistic here she had no right to be upset with Harvey about him and Donna sleeping together it happened decades ago and it happened before Harvey knew who Paula even was so why does Harvey have to explain himself to her, plus she was an idiot if she honestly thought nothing ever happened between him & Donna she should've known something happened between them by the way he was acting when she left to go work for Louis, I mean c'mon having panic attacks by just your secretary leaving? Those aren't normal reactions unless you have feelings for the other person plus the minute Donna quit and put her letter of reconition on Harvey's desk he freaked out, ran and got a taxi and went to Paula's and called things off with her just to get Donna back and this the man that fans claim was so into Paula, hilarious.
HarveySpecter Fan Paula didn't do nothing for the relationship between Harvey and his mother, Donna did it so she really was a waste of CHARACTER and time because while Harvey was pointing his feelings for Donna to Paula, Darvey could have already happened
Ahhh great cinematography and directing, hope they'll continually strengthen their script and cinematography to something more of this level as a standard in future!
I haven’t watched suits since season 4 but I’ve always hoped Donna and Harvey would finally get together so I now I just watch clips of them to just to keep updated
The fact that Paula had the audacity to give Harvey an ultimatum about dismissing Donna or leaving him, shows that she was never Harvey's in the first place. I'm so relieved that Paula is now gone, so that Harvey and Donna can rekindle their relationship!
Yeah you are smoking dick Jane. Guaranteed you would have done the same and more than likely freaked out at your partner for having a friend like Donna if you were Paula
Ehhh Donna kissed Harvey and then when Paula asked her if she could promise it wouldn't happen again she wouldn't give an answer so Paula isn't really in the wrong here
Firstly, if you care about your client's recovery, even after therapy ends, you don't make the decesion to date him. I had a feeling that Paula has some issues as a person when she was yelling at Harvey saying that "she knows him better". Absolutely wrong, your client knows him/her better than you, he/she is the expert in his/her life. You are there just as a guide that helps the person to see it. Without yelling of course. Also, in a relationship that you trust your partner and care about him you don't need to demand him to fire one of his employees because you're insecure, especially when you are a person that has gone through a therapeutic process. I am a third year student at psychology and her approach literally caught my attention in a bad way. Although she seems a very nice and sensitive person.
Yeah she seemed like a pretty decent person, but as a therapist she had a long way to go, and as a girlfriend to Harvey? It was headed for disaster. As much as Donna was wrong for kissing Harvey, I have a feeling that act was a mercy kill because Paula kept suppressing her misgivings about the relationship because she couldn't bring herself to call Harvey out on his reassuring BS until it reached critical mass. Sooner or later Paula was going to ask Harvey to dethrone Donna from her place in his heart, and Harvey wasn't. going. to.
I totally agree with this! My sentiment is that this relationship was not ethical and healthy, Harvey was dependent on her to help him with his issue so the relationship would never be balanced. It was transference on Harvey's part. She also manipulated him to get Donna out of his life. She failed to explore the root cause as to why he had such a visceral reaction to Donna leaving and told him his dreams about Donna was about his Mother. I say no. His dreams about Donna was his subconscious mind having that intimate relationship with Donna that he wanted but didn't allow his conscious self to acknowledge. Harvey feared taking the risk to get involved with Donna meant that he could lose her for good if that relationship did not work out. Paula failed him in not helping him come to that realization which ultimately resulted in her getting a broken heart.
I think people don’t really understand how powerful this scene is… we love what we can’t have, and we also don’t wanna share this people. From all the poems written on the subject of unrequited love, there are so few on the pain of being the object of that affection.
This moment gave me chills 🥺 and Jacob Banks playing the back… gosh 😭 I felt bad for Paula but Donna and Harvey are the ultimate couple. Darvey supremacy ❤️❤️❤️
When he tells her that Donna has resigned from his office, she tells him: "I'm sorry Harvey". It is the height of hypocrisy .How is she sorry when she just asked for it?
I hated Paula so much I was so glad when he broke up with her. Everything about her annoyed me so much and he finally realized that Donna is so much better 🙌🏼🙌🏼
didn’t feel bad for paula at all because instead of questioning how much harvey is committed to her she tried to get donna fired because she has a personal problem with her she had him choose she expected him to throw a 12 year friendship away for her and a relationship between a therapist and patient no matter how long it’s been is inappropriate 🤮
DOnna sucks ass she is selfish and harvey is straight up an idiot and he never deserved Paula! Paula on the other hand can do A LOOOOOOOT Better than Harvey confused man! XD
You know, even though Harvey & Paula didn’t really match, I though they were a sweet couple. And to me, the fact that she willingly ended the relationship with Harvey, it just shows she’s a good person, even if she asked Harvey to choose between Donna and herself.
Consuelo Mufc But at least she didn’t react badly and say something on the lines of; “you’re choosing her over your own girlfriend”. I believe it shows her as a good person, even though she did ask Harvey to choose between them.
i disagree they were unhealthy from the start. and it wasn't fair of paula to force harvey to choose between her and donna. i understand that she has trust issues after what happened with her ex and knowing that there's something deep between harvey and donna. but she was his therapist and she knew exactly what she was getting into. she either shouldn't have become involved with harvey in the first place cause she could've known better or she should've left him. but to make harvey fire donna wasn't fair and i was done with her character at this moment
Really love how Harvey actually declines to go in with Donna despite officially no longer in a relationship. Shows he’s understanding he shouldn’t act on raw emotion too impulsively.
Paula placed herself in the position to be hurt. Harvey was in love with Donna why he had such a severe reaction to her leaving to work with Louis. He also dreamt of being intimate with her at this time. Paula failed to help Harvey with why he had such a strong reaction to Donna leaving when he didn't with his other relationships. As his therapist she should have been able to get him to realize his feelings and the reason he couldn't bring them to the fore was because of his experience with his mother infidelity. Paula was too busy fantasizing about Harvey. She failed Harvey as his therapist and never should have gotten involved with him.
I don’t feel sorry for her she knew since day one that Donna is end game. Harvey and Donna have an unbreakable bonding. She put herself in this position. She should never be romantic involved with Harvey.
I love this show so much. The songs are perfect. The actors/actresses are perfect. They all kick ass. I was so heart broken when Meaghan left but now that she has dropped her royal duties, she can act again. Except it’s way too late 😭
I love this story arc but i feel so bad for Paula. Also, is no one mad at Harvey for dragging Paula into the picture? It’s cringy when guys pursue someone else when he’s still in a complicated relationship with someone. I feel bad for both girls
This everyone is either blaming Paula or praising Donna. But no one is talking about how.much of a sshole Harvey is. Why would u pursue someone when u have unresolved very strong feelings for some else. Someone who is so close to u and u see everyday. Its unfair to the new person. I personally have stayed away from such guys. It only brings u heartache. Coz in the end they never choose u. U will be dumped.
Paula was his therapist and should have known that he is in denial and has unresolved emotional issues. But instead of helping him, she assumed a relationship with him. She manipulated him with information at therapy sessions, she was the one who gave Harvey an ultimatum and put him in a position to choose.
I am mad at Harvey about it, but it's hard not to be more frustrated with Paula when Harvey is clearly messed up badly and blind af in terms of commitment and love, but Paula not only had a therapist's education, a knowledge of her own emotional susceptibility to clients, and a professional obligation not to date ex-patients regardless of the time passed, but to top it all off she got a long hard look at Harvey and Donna's mutual suppressed love and she still went ahead and wrecked herself. Donna shouldn't have kissed Harvey, Harvey shouldn't have romanticized his therapy experience, And Paula shouldn't have dated an ex-patient, But between them all Paula was the one who violated a boundary directly linked to her mental health obligations, and it's hard not to be most exasperated with her.
@@tabithaprovan957 exactly! Plus it's only Paula who should know what transference is and how it works. Harvey sure had feelings for Paula, but it's not his place to question their nature.

Shruti Singh lol actually if u watched the show it was Donna which prevented them after there fling in 3 x7
💔
The way he said if youre coming then im okay 🥺🥺them>>>>>>>>> GAWDDDDDDDD 😭😭😭❤❤❤
Thank you for uploading this.
So selfish. Stay away from my baby :(
Pâmela Cristina have watch the show watch 3x7 it was her that put him down. After Harvey resign for DA the first move he made on her and he was so much into her.
Actually he deserve her badly
He was afraid to take the risk of relationship bec he know that he might loss her bec he is very bad in relationship so that was a protection for her although deeply he afraid to death to loss he always there for her but he is not kind of person who show his feelings
same girl 💥
Actually i hope donna find better person than harvey. I agree your words.
I think it's the other way around, Donna doesn't deserve Harvey
To me this is the most powerful Darvey Scene in the whole series 💕
I agree
Also totally agree. Im addicted to watching it. His mannerisms and those EYES…the intensity and depth of feelings in his eyes is completely off the charts yet so real and believable. I think he’s an amazing actor. ❤❤❤
Comment #80 the story is old, used in many movies but the way Harvey did it, is the best I have seen.
I live this scene a lot ,the song and donna's words were soo prefect for it ❤️❤️❤️
He loves Donna you can tell he does and I'm sorry but Paula was an idiot if she couldn't see that he was in love with Donna it's all over his face and she was stupid if she honestly thought that Harvey was going to choose her over Donna if you know Harvey he's always going to choose Donna! this proves right here that Paula doesn't know Harvey has well has everyone likes to think she does because if she did she would've known that Harvey was going to end up choosing Donna in the end and that there relationship was never going to last.
HarveySpecter Fan that’s what she gets for dating her patient
HarveySpecter Fan Paula didn't do nothing for the relationship between Harvey and his mother, Donna did it so she really was a waste of CHARACTER and time because while Harvey was pointing his feelings for Donna to Paula, Darvey could have already happened
Bro it's not that deep... Just enjoy the show 😂😂
Ahhh great cinematography and directing, hope they'll continually strengthen their script and cinematography to something more of this level as a standard in future!
Thank you for the description of the songs! 😊
The music in these scenes takes it all to another level!!
I haven’t watched suits since season 4 but I’ve always hoped Donna and Harvey would finally get together so I now I just watch clips of them to just to keep updated
Ok i felt Paul’as pain. That breakup was heartbreaking
The fact that Paula had the audacity to give Harvey an ultimatum about dismissing Donna or leaving him, shows that she was never Harvey's in the first place. I'm so relieved that Paula is now gone, so that Harvey and Donna can rekindle their relationship!
the fact that u have the audacity to make paula the villian when its Harvey and donna blindness and denial thats the real issue
Yeah you are smoking dick Jane. Guaranteed you would have done the same and more than likely freaked out at your partner for having a friend like Donna if you were Paula
Have you ever been in love?
Ehhh Donna kissed Harvey and then when Paula asked her if she could promise it wouldn't happen again she wouldn't give an answer so Paula isn't really in the wrong here
@@AnNguyen-lw5xz looks like more than 300 people haven't been just like him. pathetic
Teach it. It feels and sounds soooo wrong to date someone who was formerly your patient. It's just wrong.
They really dragging this out aren’t they .. 😂
I know right, let's see how they can hold on for
"Will you come back?"
"Yes."
"Then I'm okay."
Those lines probably hit me the hardest in the entire show. That is true love.
great show! And this scene was, has, and will be my favorite, along with the song!
That therapist needs alot more help than Harvey does
Tell Donna to keep her emotions in check! XD
3 minutes of everything in life.
Love, care, trust, sacrifice, gratitude, respect, needs & wants.
Best music in the right moment. Love suits.
Whose song belongs to?
This moment gave me chills 🥺 and Jacob Banks playing the back… gosh 😭 I felt bad for Paula but Donna and Harvey are the ultimate couple. Darvey supremacy ❤️❤️❤️
we have seen harvey run 2 Times! in 9 seasons, both were for Donna :)
He ran for Mike too when he was going to take the prison deal
Jacob banks .. chills with that last song .
The catch in her voice when she says, "Goodbye, Harvey." 💔
the song here is called “Ghost” by Wildes :)
Thanks alot.
No it's Unknown by Jacob Banks
i hope you know i’m talking about the sad song
The most underrated tv show ever ..
When he tells her that Donna has resigned from his office, she tells him:
"I'm sorry Harvey".
It is the height of hypocrisy .How is she sorry when she just asked for it?
She was sure Harvey would fire Donna
The whole range of emotions on her face show this.
The Audacity. He went to her at the first place because Donna left.
The song is: WILDES - Ghost
Thank you so much! Love the song!
I hated Paula so much I was so glad when he broke up with her. Everything about her annoyed me so much and he finally realized that Donna is so much better 🙌🏼🙌🏼
The one and only sensational scene I’ve cried since I opened my eyes to the earth
Harvey was so blind at first like cmon he literally broke up with someone for her
This is my favourite scene in whole seasons
She asks "are you okay?" and he says "will you come back?" gosh he cannot fucntion without her at all
Dude was in love with her, paula concern was right, it just matter of time them sleep together once, them both can’t even promises that to her.
didn’t feel bad for paula at all because instead of questioning how much harvey is committed to her she tried to get donna fired because she has a personal problem with her she had him choose she expected him to throw a 12 year friendship away for her and a relationship between a therapist and patient no matter how long it’s been is inappropriate 🤮
DOnna sucks ass she is selfish and harvey is straight up an idiot and he never deserved Paula! Paula on the other hand can do A LOOOOOOOT Better than Harvey confused man! XD
The way you can hear the tremble in her voice when she says, "Good-bye Harvey." Broke me.
I just started binge-watching Suits a month ago. How in the hell did I sleep on this show?!! "Harvey is the Dude!!" A real stand-up guy!
in 2020 still amazing moment. Who knows what of Jacob Banks version of Unknown plays right next to Wildes - Ghost. Thanks.
3 MINUTES OF MAGIC PAIN SUFFERING IN THE SAME TIME FRAME MAGNIFICENT
I cried like mad when i saw this scene again
I think this is the moment he truly realizes he is in love with DONNA
I hope breakups are this easy to do, and get the same understanding from each other
Best soundtrack EVER
You know, even though Harvey & Paula didn’t really match, I though they were a sweet couple. And to me, the fact that she willingly ended the relationship with Harvey, it just shows she’s a good person, even if she asked Harvey to choose between Donna and herself.
Xanh Nguyen she x didn't ended anything. She basically been dumped by Harvey, because he will always choose Donna.
Consuelo Mufc But at least she didn’t react badly and say something on the lines of; “you’re choosing her over your own girlfriend”. I believe it shows her as a good person, even though she did ask Harvey to choose between them.
I guess she reacted that way because she kinda saw it coming. She always had a hunch about Harvey's feelings for Donna and it only got confirmed.
i disagree they were unhealthy from the start. and it wasn't fair of paula to force harvey to choose between her and donna. i understand that she has trust issues after what happened with her ex and knowing that there's something deep between harvey and donna. but she was his therapist and she knew exactly what she was getting into. she either shouldn't have become involved with harvey in the first place cause she could've known better or she should've left him. but to make harvey fire donna wasn't fair and i was done with her character at this moment
im glad she put him in that position, to make him realise it was always Donna
A men never shall never remove a woman because of another woman.
he should have kicked off Donna !
Sorry for Paula but Harvey's heart was always of Donna. For me the best episode ❤ Missing watching the serie.
Really love how Harvey actually declines to go in with Donna despite officially no longer in a relationship. Shows he’s understanding he shouldn’t act on raw emotion too impulsively.
Best soundtrack ever!!
Donna is my favorite, but I feel bad for Paula, she didn't deserved to have a heartbreak again
On behalf of Donna, I am proud of you, Hervey! Takes a lot to do what you did. That's how every relationship should be ender , respectfully
I don't like that Paula had to go, I understand her beeing worried. But I love that Harvey chose Donna. Suits Is the best series I know😍
I love this story arc but i feel so bad for Paula.
Donna shouldn't have kissed Harvey,
Harvey shouldn't have romanticized his therapy experience,
And Paula shouldn't have dated an ex-patient,
But between them all Paula was the one who violated a boundary directly linked to her mental health obligations, and it's hard not to be most exasperated with her.
@@tabithaprovan957 exactly! Plus it's only Paula who should know what transference is and how it works. Harvey sure had feelings for Paula, but it's not his place to question their nature.
I’m a manly man but this broke my heart. Amazing show, amazing acting and the friendship they all have was amazing
I just cant find this version of the song, the one he released on formal channels is different. was this from a live performance?
The song here is actually called "unknown" which is the acoustic version of the actual song "unknown to you".....just search "unknown" u will find it on TH-cam itself
They gotta admit it that the both love each other,,been waiting for long now😏😏😏😏😏
The Starting music puts me into the Zone
The Best moment in entire Show !
The Jacob Banks song made this scene. Absolutely perfect 3 mins of television. I would change nothing!
I didn’t know who Jacob banks was until I went to the closing ceremony commonwealth games in Birmingham, what a powerful song.
