I just finished my first cruise ever. Ncl gem transatlantic. I had a great time over the 15 days from Rome to NYC.
I was in quarantine for 5 days. Tested clear before boarding. Got sick on the ship,band so did like a whole lot of people.
Crew were in quarantine from NYC to Miami before the next round.
It was still a REALLY greattrip. Cheers to Shoomesh and John at Bali Hai. 😊😊❤😊😊

My very first cruise was on the Gem. Glad to see it still in the fleet so many memories. Unfortunately when I went the bank was never open 😂.

What do you mean when you wrote Unfortunately when I went the "Bank" was never open ?? You mean when you want to go back on the 2nd cruise, there was "no money" to cruise ??
@@SamanthaChan-zm7zh at 6:44 into the video Danny refers to the basketball court as the bank. Meaning he was taking a bank shot off the backboard if he makes it the bank is open. If he misses it the bank is closed. He takes a few shots on every ship he goes on.

I have been on the gem 15 times been on 27 so far so in my 19 years of living always loved the gem
you must have a terrible normal life if you like this ship. I have been on more than 4000 days of cruises and I have never been more irritated than when I was on ncl gem. It is a trailer park of Cruise ships.

Just finished Bermuda cruise April 5th. Ocean view cabin was nice, food was good (buffet temp of food not hot enough though) salad bar and crepe station were great. Pools and hot tubs were closed most of the time due to weather conditions. The ship entertainment was good. Sadly, we personally wouldn't book with Norwegian again as it wasn't worth the price for what was offered. I understand the weather can't be controlled but it was so very crowded and the disembarking process was a nightmare. When I answered the survey we were offered a $50 credit for another cruise, what a slap in the face.. Really research in advance before you book.. Just our opinion. Good luck

Is the coffee good, it was horrible on Carnival Celebration? Loved your video. Was the Asian restaurant complementary?
The Orchid Garden is complementary but the sushi is priced a la carte.
