It really is easy to understand, all club golfers in Australia use this system every week with good effect. your first slide is not fully correct its net birdie = 3 points net par = 2 points net bogey = 1 point net DBogey = 0 points. once exceed net DB pick up or wipe the hole.
HI Geoff, thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment, however in the first slide I refer to the stableford points in relation to your handicap. We're basically saying the same thing I am just avoiding using the term 'net' as this may be confusing for beginner golfers.

Net does confuse me.
Net means your final shots in a hole.
“Par is this example is related to your handicap” = that means net!
