What empresses me is that your boys don't stand around and whine about doing chores for you. Just love those children of yours. The boys act more like teenagers with their smarts. Yes, in a good way.they know what to do without you having to scream at them. Farm life is the best life for all ages. Good upbringing by mom and dad I'd say.

I love my butcher block counters. I make a conditioning paste out of coconut oil and beeswax. Rub it down once a week and that is all they need💜

Wow! I remember having a milk man back in the early 70s and those glass milk bottles! I don't think Stone Mountain, Georgia has had milk delivery since 1973. Now, I'm in a condo in Atlanta, Georgia, and I miss that good milk. Matthis Dairy delivered our milk.

Beet tops have double the Potassium than any other greens! :) Good in cheese pies and omelets :) Steamed too as a side dish :)

We've thought about it, but it would be one more thing for me to carry and the boys, well... they'd have to carry them without loosing them. OH, and then we'd all have to remember to charge them and actually take them with us. Good thought though.

Great question. Just add carbon. Start now, by adding a few inches. Wood chips, leaves, or shavings. Add more as it gets gross and/or stinky.
