Also just wanted to mention that while regular text/object vectors can be engraved either way, those that have illustrations of faces and eyes (human and animal) definitely need to be invented when engraving on anodized. 😺
when i do the stroke unite method and then put it in EZ cad the catch goes crazy and makes a million lines destroying any thing that resembles the image???
when you exported, what AI version did you save as? be sure to use v8 when you are exporting to ezcad or it's not going to have the info structured as it needs in the file itself. If you're still having troubles after that, would strongly recommend joining one of the communities in the description where help will be easier to share.
@@LaserEverything Ya I always save as v8. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. Usually I can go back and choose outline and then it works fine. Will have to play with it some more. Thanks
@@BungToba Me as well. As I start to make videos myself I see how the amount of like drives the type of content created. I am working on doing better about showing what videos I like more.
Timing of this tutorial is amazing. I was just struggling with engraving on anodized aluminum. This helps SO MUCH! Alex you are genius!!!
Not a genius, just a few steps ahead of you. Happy to help 😊
Thought I was flashing back to the eighties when the video started. Thanks! This is a great explanation.
Glad you liked it!
1. What workspace are you using?
2. How did you get RED lines when you selected everything?
Im still learning ezcad and Ai.
I probably missed you saying it but what program are you using for your image editing?

Absolutely, so true!
Can you do this same tutorial for Lightburn?
I'll add it to my list!
@@LaserEverything Thank you Alex. I’m also a member of your Laser Master Academy. 😁

Maybe the viewers are too focus on the content and practicing it, so they forgot (me too sometimes) :D
