Please, if the characters weren't ultrasexualized like that I'd be playing right now and sharing it to all my friends, they'd love it without that. I take it if you both die at the same time, it’s your win? Like the opponents probably also won with only 1 hp, which is… undoubtedly interesting, but that makes high damage suicide builds a little too good maybe.
@@Retromation I've heard it in a different video that this is in fact the case. Since you're just playing against someone elses build there's no harm in letting you win on a draw.
Have figured out an absolutely broken af build. Get as many Light Sabors as possible and 3 healing herbs (or a way to get 3 regen.) They will all proc their blinds at the same time and one shot the opponent. If you come across someone named SORRY with this build, well… sorry. 😅
Honestly, I do wonder if Backpack Hero's success with its anthro critters had some.... influence here. Normally I'll defend game's for their artstyles, but even I'm put off a bit here
It's a good base to go off of. Really needs more clarification on items/abilities, art is.....there. But I'd love to see more of this later. I love these asynchronous PVP battlers. a PvE story would be great, but not sure if it would fit this game.
Okay so while I can understand disliking the art (personally not against it, sexualization is fine, it should just be more balanced with more male representation IMO), and actually am not a fan of it personally I'm intrigued by people describing it as disturbing or unsettling. Half naked but sexual-parts-covered human aren't unsettling. They can be annoying or angering if you dislike such representation but if human anatomy is unsettling to humans what have we come to ? (note this is really the choice of word I'm criticizing here)
@@Retromation I mean, based on that logic, a lot of animes with "fan service" could be described as unsettling too. They just look "kawaii" to me, not children. Though I'll say I think this definitely goes into the realm of subjectivity so I can understand, thanks for your personal insight on the matter ;)
Human anatomy is not unsettling, but not everyone wants to see at lewd art all day. You can't share the game with friends without getting snarky comments about playing a hentai game when it really isn't one

This is personally not something I like and even pushes away from a game, but I can also appreciate that there are people who may enjoy it. But most importantly it's indeed not disturbing. Probably a bad choice of word from people who said that, but I hate when people give words too little or too much value, huge gripe of mine !
Yeah... the characters are such a weird choice. The artstyle in general is so good, that I *genuinely* think the game would literally just look better with _no_ character.

Please, make sure people are asked to choose a nickname, when they first start a game. Most people being unnamed is a bit silly.

the secret synergies are so cool, being able to evolve items like that
Shield + Walrus Tusk = Spiked Shield (Rare)
Wooden Sword + 2x Whetstone = Hero Sword (Epic)
Dagger + Pestilence Flask = Poison Dagger
Thorn Whip + Hungry Blade = Bloodthorne (Godly)
Potion of Stone + 2x Stone = Greater (?) Stone Potion
Health Potion + 2x Healing Herbs = Greater (?) Health Potion
Gloves of Haste + Blood Amulet = Vampiric Gloves (?)

Backpack Hero is great for all its interesting builds, the only problem is tedious clicking during fights. Autobattler to the rescue!
The items combining mechanic is really neat, that last run was fun
Im glad you discovered one of the combo items there are several more.
That item that gives an extra stamina, is extra storage (3 slots).
Which you figure out in the fight right after!

The early access of the game released recently and thankfully it now has cuter designs without the scandalous aspect (that I'm aware of)
I could get behind more of this. Very entertaining.
