I literally wanted to buy one a number of years ago. Probably 10 or 12 by now. But Kawasaki in their Infinite Wisdom would not allow people to test ride their motorcycles. At least that's what the man at the dealership that I was at had told me.
I did end up purchasing a used 1998 BMW r1200c, an odd-looking motorcycle, but it has been bang on reliable and even as a Naked Bike I came back from western Canada to Detroit in one setting of just shy of 30 hours. And it never missed a lick. And not even BMW would tell me that I couldn't test ride one of their motorcycles. Kawasaki can kiss my ass
