#Fridaythe13thPart2 (1981)
“Do you think Jason waits for penetration before he lunges?”
“Most definitely.”
Michael Myers watches people have sex and kills them after. Jason kills them in the middle of it.
Jason waits until the guy puts the tip in, before Jason puts the tip in...
"You know what would make this scene better? If ya take your clothes off." - Every 80s slasher film ever.
When making American films you add American sleeze
*every slasher
Correct and it's the same reason it still continues to this day.
@@zannchristo You right
This was a time before the internet and these movies were a good source of T&A for guys back then.
"Beware... bear-ware."
"Are you okay?"
I fucking died 😂
"Was that the mum's head?"
"Well, yeah it was cut off..."
This and part 4 are my favourites by far. Ginny was a great final girl, I love that whole chase sequence. Jason is creepy af with the sack instead of the hockey mask.
I agree. Probably my favorite Jason outfit
Yeah. His hockey mask look I prefer better because it is more iconic I agree with you on the fact it is more scarier.
Agreed! Part 4 is my favourite, with part 2 close behind.
I wonder if they got the idea for the sack from The Town That Dreaded Sundown.
@Takeshi357 yeah, the totally did. Jason never kills anyone with a trombone, though.
The actress who played the girl that gets killed along with her boyfriend while in bed was actually underage and lied about her actual age when she got the part and when the filmmakers learned the truth, they immediately cut their sex scene and instead showed them postcoital
I've lost even more respect for this franchise 🤣
@@spaceinvader8791 why?
@@spaceinvader8791 because they cut an underage girl having sex? dude.. are you alright?
@@ducksauce9187 no, because of the fact that they didn't do further research to determine this girl's actual age. When you make a movie you have to do a background check on all the actors and actresses. What if they didn't figure out her age in time? then you'd be stuck with child porn in you're film.
@@spaceinvader8791 you gotta consider the fact that this was the 80s, Im sure it was super easy to get away with lying about your age back then. Look at Mila Kunis in that 70s show she was underage as well and that wasnt even the 80s just a time where technology was less common
I find this one significantly better than the first film. The main character was multi-dimensional (unlike Alice, who was barely a character), which meant that the final chase scene was actually scary rather than tedious.
I agree.
These movies are told like campfire stories, which is kind of the point with how little they make sense lol. Personally I hope you guys like Part 4 and 6 which are my favorites
@Allan Jurkowski one of the best movie soundtracks
especially man behind the mask by alice cooper
7th is my favourite
Growing up we had Part 6 on a vhs and we watched it hundreds of times. So it’s my fav for nostalgia reasons.
@Allan Jurkowski 6 is my favorite, too...followed closely by 4.
You have to remember that Jason is still human in Part 2. That's why he gets slowed by kicks and whatnot. In Part 3, he starts becoming more ominous, threatening, seemingly less human, and more unstoppable. By Part 4, he is barely human and even more brutal and ominous. He is not in Part 5 other than dreams/hallucinations. From Part 6 on, he is definitely no longer human or even alive and is the unstoppable, threatening, ominous hulking, killing machine that everyone loves!
The drowned 12 year old from the end of the first movie who continues to grow in between the end of the first movie and the beginning of the second movie is human? Does that sound like human biology?
If it weren't for Kane Hodder, Jason in parts 7-X wouldn't be nearly as memorable. He gave him so much personality without having to say a word.
They wanted Adrienne King, the first final girl, for a bigger role, but she had a stalker that broke into her home and held her at gun point. So she asked for a smaller role. She didn't know she would be killed off so early until she got on set.
Kinda screwed up how her character died given what happened to the actress in retrospect.
Alone in her apartment, being stalked and then broken into and killed
a recent documentary on the movies said that it also had something to do with her agent asking for more money.
@@connorwood9211 You do know that she is alive?
@@DCFCfanatic Yeah it was a combination of those two things that led to her character Alice being killed off at the beginning.
Never say "Im in need of that brute force." to a gay viewer who has been single WAY too long lolol. Keep it up guys! Love these reactions.
Kinda had the same thought 🤣
Saaaaaaame
😂
I had the exact same thought
Brent, I'm not going to 'Like' your comment, just because you're at 69 right now, and that's just too perfect. ;P
I don't think you noticed but as soon as the dog runs into Jason, it cuts to hotdogs on a grill.
I’ve been waiting for this ever since y’all reacted to the first movie. Y’all never disappoint.
I'm just always shocked at how THEY'RE always shocked about the brutality. But they are a riot to watch. When they both grabbed both sides of their foreheads when she got that icepick in her head... that was funny.
Gotta love how they at least try and give Ginny any character development. She is interested in child psychology which is why at the bar she is talking about Jason witnessing his mothers death and how it affected him, and if he is a child in a mans body. She puts her theory to test in the scene where she imitates Mrs Voorhees to trick Jason.
My fave F13 film. Ginny is also my fave F13 final girl. She was the trifecta. Brains, brawn, and beauty.
same. Ginny is my favorite final girl because how she uses brute force against Jason, then outsmarted him by pretending to be his mother, and she's just so cute. this movie is definitely one of my top favorite F13 movies. I like sack head Jason.
@@subscorpion9560 Yes but i like this Jason too
But with the mask is better
This Jason is weak compared to the one in Freddy vs Jason
I didn’t say I hated this Jason. Plus I like Jason in Freddy vs Jason (my favorite crossover movie) as well. He looks awesome.
@@subscorpion9560 yeah
I meet jason in the last movies
First was FvJ
Then part 7 and 8
Then 6 then part 2 next
Dude...when i see part 2 i was like "Jason?? No...its not Jason...wait, that girl said his name, ITS JASON OH MY GOD!! But he looks so weird...and more human"
Yeah
I mean part 2 and 3 Jason are deformed but human. In Part 4 his nails are longer and his face looks more darker. It’s part 6 and onward he’s a supernatural being with his super strength, durable body, teleportation and zombie appearance.
Can’t wait for you to review part 4! It’s the best one and introduces Tommy Jarvis
Then in Part 5 & 6 he ages by like 15 years and yet it's still the 80's lol.
@@thelivingjed9676 Not if you believe the timeline, it's not 😂. The Friday the 13th timeline is one of the most ridiculously broken timelines of all time, honestly I just try not to think about the timeline.
@@imbatman273 Same thing with Jason coming back from the dead after decades of being already drowned. Just make up your own fan-fiction and you're good.
Agreed
Part 4 is based as fuck, 3 is kinda lame but they should still watch it imo.
"You'd think she'd take one look at that hair... and just throw up on him."
Well then.
He at least has hair....Balding guys are jealous.
Hey guys, when Paul wrote Beware of Bears, he was referencing the earlier scene where he told the ladies to keep clean during their menstral cycles. Late when Paul and Ginny kiss, she says, Paul, there is is something i should tell you, but he hushes her up. She was trying to tell him she was having her period...to which he later discovers and writes the warning on the mirror.
Entertaining sequel but such a shame it was made an example of by the MPAA and got butchered by the censors. Even though Scream Factory have sourced the deleted footage I wish they would have released an uncut version. And yes Mrs Voorhees eyes were meant to open at the end!
Don't worry someone will. That's how the consumer gets cheated. 1st the movie gets on dvd with nothing or with some extras. Oh, actually Deadpool 2 is a perfect example. 1st release was the R rated version, then comes, a couple of months later, the additional footage uncut gorier version. Then heres another for Christmas, the Christmas version, give me a fukin break. Now we may have to wait for, ah, an anniversary edition in 5 or 10 years and another Deadpool 2 is release but with more extras. Those bastards should have a clause or contract saying that if you have the first one, you can trade it in for the newer, anniversary edition for us that can't afford all the movies.
Someone has made a fan edit using the uncut footage, sadly due to the quality, its doesn't blend well together
All that's left is rough vhs footage of the deaths. The high quality film footage was likely thrown out because studios used to think that such footage was useless.
Dude, I Have ALL the Friday The 13th movies, the complete DVD collection from the Shout Factory for my birthday last year!
Nice! That's something I need to get. When I was like 7 my parents bought me a lot of the vhs tapes. It's been 16 years and I still have some of them in storage lol I'd much prefer the dvd or blu-ray version of the series but I'm a nostalgic guy, I kind of miss the vhs aesthetic.
Unfortunately, those are Region A only, so if these guys were to import it, they'd need a region free player/television.
Lol i think you guys guess everything because these movies have informed everything made afterwards, so in a sense you’ve been trained to expect those tropes and pick up on cues that the original audience was more naive about. Although I think everyone says the same thing about the chainsaw. I guess if the character knew she was in a horror movie she would make sure he’s dead instead of running for help.
Great point!
@@funkspinna haha thank you friend.
Easy to predict things when you're watching one of the film's that set up those movie tropes 😉
They take off the hood and all of a sudden you hear Velma's voice saying "jinkies, it was old man Jenkins all along" 🤭🤭
"And I would've gotten away it, too! If it weren't for you meddling kids!"
Had a lot of fun watching you guys react to this. Final Chapter is probably my favourite Friday sequel.
Jason's not really "Jason" til part 3. IMO, the best sequels are 3, 4 and 6. And part 5 deserves more credit than it gets.
I love that he gets his iconic mask from Shelly. And you're right about part 5. Even though it's Roy it's still one of my favs
Yea, but Part 3 kinda sucks. Part 4 is legitimately a good 80s slasher movie
I agree with this
geezus I remember for a some time part 5 was known as the one with most kills and the most foul language of the series.
Absolutely- my personal favourite is part six but i always stand up for part 5 ive never quite understood the hate it gets- i think its a fun film.
Love that y’all are watching these. Not sure why but I love this stupid franchise. Best ones the Tommy Jarvis Trilogy (4/5/6), Jason X, Freddy vs Jason
I kinda like how they explain his ability to pop up everywhere in the remake from 2009. Course I also like how he's made more into a hunter in that too.
I like a lot of how they treated Jason in that. It's everything else about the movie I don't like.
Guys, I know you've done part 3, but you absolutely need to do part 4 (probably the best in the series) and parts 5,6,7 and 8. You can forget the rest. Oh and the remake, that's brilliant too.
Parts 5, 7 and 8 were fking atrocious LOL
@@tricko8000 a billion times better than JGTH, X and FVJ though!
@@jasonvoorhees3124 that’s not saying much. I’d stop after 4.
I think 7 was awesome
The remake is brilliant? 👁👄👁
The first Friday the 13th scared me because that amazingly iconic and creepy music made its debut and especially because the murderer was the vengeful mother. Having a woman as the murderer freaked me out.
When Ginny says “I’ll never be late again in my entire life” I’m like “so....no kids then?” 😂
"Back! Back!"
"Get him!"
Both: Yeeeaaaah!
Lol this was very entertaining
Hell yeah!! I’ve been waiting for you guys to watch the Friday the 13th sequels! This is one of my favorites. 🔪
this franchise holds a super dear place in my heart from childhood, so for the first time to see other people react to it really makes my day. Love this channel, you lads rock
2:07, Tom you are really a good singer. I can listen to you sing all day 😊
How can anyone dislike this, it's an enjoyable Movie, and an enjoyable reaction video. 👍😯🔪😀
Absolutely, it was the first Friday the 13th film I ever saw back when in the theaters. It's good scary fun.
To me, Friday the 13th series becoming the best horror movie franchise in history. The creative kills by anything that Jason made. It’s very entertaining on all of them. #Friday13thRule.
9:38, lol! Your scream was hilarious!
You should watch all of em. Part 4 and 6 are my favorites. Jason pretty much gets more iconic and menacing with every installment.
I love your reactions on the Friday the 13th movies so far!
To me you seem like uncorrupted, fresh and curious horror friends who are 'growing up' in this incredible subgenre of the 80's.
I'm having a blast!
This was Jason's debut as a slasher, or rather, a pre-slasher, in his human form before turning into the monster we recognize today as Slashers. After becoming a Slasher, he gains certain powers, like rapid movement, target obsession, tracking and, of course psycho-strength and endurance.
Yes!!! Part 2 is the shit. Sackhead Jason is my favourite Jason.
Same. Fave look for sure.
@@armando7060 I just think being chased by a sackhead maniac is absolutely terrifying, whereas the hockey mask is cool as fuck.
Yup, almost as good as the first one.
I don't know if anyone has told y'all this but I really like how you guys show the movies and yourselves in your videos.
Bolt - Full Movie 2008 what movie name

Bolt - Full Movie 2008 what movie name anyone
Part 2 is my most favorite out of Friday the 13th movies bc it reveals his true self & later on the movies, u never forget his face, like ever.
Another super fun reaction video, guys! There’s an easy likability about the two of you, and you play off of each other nicely. I love how you don’t try too hard or put on airs. You’re being genuine and that’s what makes you fun to watch!
This is my favorite film from the franchise!
The ending is a dream; that’s why you see the obviously dead dog that she didn’t know about which is why she dreams it because she doesn’t know it is dead.
When she wakes up she is on the stretcher because she is waking up from the dream and the paramedics are taking her to the hospital. Same as Halloween 2 ending for a little scare at the end.
Also original the eyes did open up but the studio made them cut it and the footage is lost or was burned.
Gotta wonder what happened to Paul then, as the third film did confirm that fight in Jason's shack did still happen.
I think my favorite part of y’alls reactions is Tom’s facial expressions during kills they’re absolutely priceless LOL
This series has so many crazy twists and turns in style and tone, you kinda need to watch them all at this point.
The ending with the dog and Jason jumping through the window is a dream sequence. That’s why the next thing you see is Ginny waking up on a stretcher. At the end of the this movie, in reality, Jason is still lying on the floor of his shack.
Loving these reactions videos. Highly entertaining and loved how you were able to guess stuff ahead of the movie itself.
3:45, your reaction! Lol! You did the Ernst Munch The Scream!
That was fun, guys. This is the last Friday the 13th film I cared for. I like it for sentimental reasons (I saw it with a bunch of friends on my 14th birthday -- yes, we did rewind the tape several times during, um, certain scenes) and for Ginny's resourceful character. The head in the last shot was going to open its eyes, but the director had a change of heart during editing and froze the frame.
Growing up as a young child when these came out, we all would imitate the old man "You're Doooooomed" "You are all dooomed"
These movies were so great. They were original, creative, and just gruesome enough to be frightening but not too gory. You don't see talent like this anymore. Adrienne King, who played Alice, is so cool. I got o meet her years ago, and she was an angel.❤
A lot of people theorize that the jumpscare sequence in this one was a dream, and that Paul and Muffin actually did die earlier.
It's only really in part 6 that Jason's "unstoppable force" demeanor becomes a prominient aspect of the character when Kane Hodder took on the role and fleshed him out as such. It's also when the character effectively becomes a vengeful revenant, which explains some of his more known "talents" (seemingly teleporting, only ever walking menacingly but always catching up, etc.). Before then he was played by different stuntmen whom all didn't really succesfully made him look imposing or unique, like a Michael Myers or a Freddy Krugger. Even in part 4 (the first *really* good Friday the 13th movie), he's still stumbling around and running awkwardly.
Ah great work guys...your personalities are the real draw here. I grew up with these old films and its great to see first time reactions! 👏👏👏
You just made me genuinely LOL. "Write a script" I think that's paying way too much respect.
I recently found your channel, Love the reactions.
The fact that all these tropes come from this film and that’s why you predicted everything is hilarious
Glad y’all enjoyed it. I personally like this more than the original but part 3 & 8 are easily my favorites. Freddy v Jason is also fantastic
Part 2 has one of my favourite go-to jokes.
Ted: "What's brown and sitting on a piano?
Beethoven's last movement"
oh yes...Ted the only other survivor of this film.
This is the best Friday the 13th, easy, underrated.
Bolt - Full Movie 2008 what movie name
I liked the fourth the best, but this is up there
@@rickie3041 Part 4 is my personal favorite as well
i would personally say that Part 4 is the quintessential (and superior) Friday the 13th film
but let’s be real, this franchise is great
This was filmed in my home state of Connecticut, in the town of Kent. Kent is the hometown of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane!
😎
Was it ever explained how Jason somehow managed to learn about and hunt down Alice, who I assumed lived in a different city, while carrying his mother's severed head without anyone noticing?
In the novel its stated she returned to crystal lake and was staying in town! It’s not revealed in the movie but that’s your answer!
I love how this movie introduces more lore into the franchise. Part 4 is the best film of the franchise IMO
The ending was a dream sequence. Jason, Paul and Muffin the dog were dead. This was meant to be the end but the door left open for another sequel.
My 3rd favorite movie of the franchise. It introduced our classic meat stalker. The pov camera shots were handled well. The kills were overall memorable and creative. And finally, we have the classic slingshot to the booty gag that never gets old. Ah, fun times.
But thats basically all it had, nothing happens. I remember watching it back in the day not expecting it could possibly be more boring than the second one. I was proven wrong. I just purchased the Movies for the nostalgia and because I love 80s slashers.
Hope you’re ready for Friday the 13th Part 3D! Watching an old 3D movie without the 3D is always an experience. From what I recall Parts 2, 3 and 4 are set over the course of a few days. Thursday the 12th, Friday the 13th, Saturday the 14th respectively.
Yes! I have been waiting for a long time to see your reaction to Friday the 13th part 2. And it was awesome! Thanks,it was fun.
Friday the 13th Part 7 is still my favorite.
Part 4 is the best one. In my opinion, it’s the quintessential 80s slasher movie
Well director Joseph Zito knew how to make a legit slasher. He also did 'the prowler', a fine one, too. (Only if you're into these type of movies of course)
I was a kid when these came out and watched all of them. They really don't get any more original. Drugs and booze definitely help. Very funny.
I really enjoy how you both make fun of one another...
This is my favorite 'Friday the 13th' and honestly one of my favorite horror movies. I feel it's the creepiest 'Friday' and has the best characters.
"What if Jason was alive today, what would he be like? Some out of control psychopath?" "YOU GOT IT!"
Suggestions for future sequels: Rip off “Die Hard”!
Friday the 13th Part 2-10: “Friday Harder”, “Friday Another Day”, “Friday with a Vengeance”, “A Good Day to Friday Hard”...
Hope that helps!
I'm not sure if you'll make it that far, but I'd love to eventually see you guys react to Part 6. It's easily my favorite in the series.
so the girl survived the whole first film just to die in the first 10 minutes of the second film
gotta love it haha
Love your channel, subbed. It's fun to watch you guys react to movies that were very popular when I was a teen and or in my 20/s. Giving my age away here. :)
Look forward to watching more of your videos. Peace!
I don't wanna say too much if you're intending to watch the whole series but Jason going from a killable guy to the unstoppable force he's known as in pop culture does actually get explained throughout the movies. Let's just say this is 'early Jason' , You've just gotta keep going for him to be the absolute beast.
Also you guys really should react to Rob Zombie’s trilogy: House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects and 3 From Hell.
I don’t think anyone has done a reaction to any of them so it’d be great for you guys to do it.
I'd recommend just watching House and Rejects. 3 From Hell wasn't terrible but it wasn't as good as those two.
Plenty of people have reacted to those films
@@Smoothjazzsundays That's a good point, I've seen a couple channels react to the first two at least.
I recommend House Of A Thousand Corpses and HIGHLY recommend The Devil's Rejects but hey, 3 From Hell is better then what I heard. For me it's House that was mehh. I'd have to rewatch it again. The problem is I really don't want. The sequels, I'd watch again.
@@Smoothjazzsundays really? I’ve not found any. I’ve seen a couple reviews but no first time reaction videos
Love this reaction lads. Theres nothing better than watching a super cliched movie and predicting all the tropes before they happen.
I fucking love your thumbnail faces. Make me chuckle everytime 😂
Absolutely LOVE the horror movie reviews! I watch every day. You are both adorable and I get to experience the movie with you & discover new ones :)
I personally think Part VI will be the one that y’all will be the most satisfied with. While played more as a horror comedy instead of a straight up horror, it’s the first film in the series that matches how Jason is viewed in the public eye: an ominous, unstoppable killing machine
My biggest problem with this movie is that it is never explained how a dead little boy (Jason was like 7 when he drowned) magically becomes a full-grown murdering psychopath. It does not make sense.
I like when characters are portrayed as being so stupid you enjoy them being murdered.
Always remind, it is propably the generation that mostly voted for Trump, so it's kinda legit.
@@chuck.u.farley nope nope, take that back lol. I’m an eighties child and hate trump, so do my friends. ✌🏻
The 4th one Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter and the 6th one Friday The 13th: Jason Lives are the best ones the Reboot from 2009 is also really good
Paul was missing at the end because the actor left the film set. The dog and window scene was like a dream sequence because Jason was still 'dead' in the shack
Great sequel! The psychological scene with the girl pretending to be Jason's mother was brilliant.
I thinks there was 2 dogs. One who was just lost all the time, and one who was already dead. I think it was just something to confuse the viewers. Guess that still works.
8:01 When you're trying to make a joke but start having a stroke instead
A lot of the deaths were cut out or shortened, you can find clips on TH-cam. They were discovered only recently on some vhs somewhere and didn’t have sound, the clips were put on the new US box set.
The commentary was so perfect.
Humble beginnings. Just wait until you get to cyborg jason.
It really becomes proper Friday the 13th by the third movie with Jason getting the hockey mask and everything. It's really an excellent sequel as well.
When you watch part 3, keep in mind that when it came out it was in 3D. So there are many scenes that look goofy bc they’re aimed directly at the camera. I saw this in theaters when it was released and it was great cheesy fun. I think every part 3 in the 80’s was in 3D lol
You guys are hilarious. Keep grinding and salute from Philly!
Loved the video, can’t wait to see you watch the next 10 movies lol
Hey guys....this series is so much fun...glad you are checking it out....unlike some other horror series...these actually get better as you get further along. Stick with it..believe it or not part 4 and 5 are the sweet spot in the series..I promise...love you guys!!
