"We identified 4 video files taken from the WB-57 aircraft of the Starship launch November 18, 2023. We reviewed the responsive records under the FOIA to determine whether they may be disclosed to you. Based on that review, this office is providing the following: 4 video files are released in part (RIP)
We redacted time stamped portions in each of the four videos as follows:
Video 1 - Time Stamp 2:07 to 2:42
Video 2 - Time Stamp 2:53 to 3:30
Video 3 - Time Stamp 2:13 to 2:57
Video 4 - Time Stamp 2:28 to 3:04"

I wonder why they would redact the stage separation and attempted boostback-burn/booster explosion? I mean, we've seen these things already, they're not a secret.

I'm puzzled by this one and the second one. While they state they identified these as recorded from the WB57, those are clearly recorded from the ground, right?

Pilot started off flying low, as starship climbed, so did he. Only starship climbs much quicker and higher in altitude. Stage sep at 70km, wb-57 prolly around 10km
