I have a question, how can I keep the most current duplicate if i don't have a date. If I have a list of every MLB Players, but then when they get traded, the player name shows up 3 separate times, one with his season average for both teams (TOT), his old team (MIN) and then his current team (LAD) in that order how could I keep his current team row... more importantly how can i do this all at once for say 60 players who get traded each year.
See if you have the new XLOOKUP function (it was not available 11 years ago when this video was made). XLOOKUP has the ability to search from the bottom, so you could find the last record for each player. It is an optional 6th argument called Search_Mode. Use -1 to search from the bottom.
Acoording about what I have done, you did a list of 'distint values'; you do not 'keep the last value'. If you would have kept 'the last value', you would have got only the last reppeated values. But I do not know what you mean with "Keep The Last Duplicate".

Norma Benjamin as active 12/30/2011 should have been on his final list. It was not. Sorry that formula he had did not work properly.
