I still have no idea what skin cracking is or how it works. :O Google is no help, it just brings up results of dry, cracked skin.
Tree with regards to the back and the neck it is possible to crack one vertebrae at a time by pulling on the skin if it is elastic enough however i have absolutely no idea how he does the rest of the skin cracking

Mateusz Hutyra sorry but you are wrong here. When you cavitate a joint space the small gas bubbles are released. The same cannot be said about skin since there is no joint space to cavitate. Try it yourself if you think you can crack your skin. What he is is clicking his fingernails together to make a cracking sound. Try it. It's nice to think that he is actually cracking skin though haha.
Again, I like the idea, but it just isn't the case here. I just finished taking my anatomy courses. If it is as easy as you say (just pulling on skin to release air bubbles), then upload a video showing us. There is no way he gets a "crack" every single time, in every spot, THROUGH HIS SHIRT might I add. And the "he is an expert" argument just isn't going to work either.

if you want to see something interesting with pulling skin and cracking bones, TH-cam "back cracking pulling skin" it shows a guy demonstrating that pulling on the skin can crack the back.

It's a pretty common way of massaging the head in east Indian and oriental culture where there the fingers are knocked back and forth against each other and against the head making a finger snapping sound. It not only feels good but it's supposed to center you through audible stimulation.

I've been following asmr and such for a long time now, and I've noticed skin cracking seems to be really new. Can anyone tell me how to do it? And how to know which spots to do it in? Google won't bring up much when it comes to cracking anyway

i watched this a few times now..is he really cracking skin or is he just able to make his own wrists or fingers click easy via double jointed knuckles or something and then just sells it off as being able to crack others skin as a scam?... it just seems very odd that he can crack your back skin that easy through your shirt

The massage by this barber is close to Trikish massage. I had a Turkish hair stylist and she would give me a rub down as she called it when she styled my hair.

it's the same as cracking your joints, gas bubbles can build up in the fluid and the crack is just the bubbles bursting
DrMaoh yes but that occurs at the joints where synovial fluid is present, there is no such fluid present under bare skin like the arm
