i know many people dislike ua but it has some cute moments and probably one of the funniest moments on the franchise

I forgot how great Kevin and Ben's friendship had grown in UA
In my opinion, their friendship is the core of the show, they really make you care about them and how they grow through the journey

And as a character, he completed the idea of people growing up and maturing, becoming more aware, intelligent, reasonable and understanding. All of the trio has become better people, this evolution of a human, a person is the main idea of the show, i believe.

I think it was his moment to be open about how he feels about ben and how much he cares and we all were waiting for that 💖

funny how UA just kinda turns into a slice of life after the agregor arc is over
still great.
Slice of life is very important if used correctly taking couple of mintues and having characters talk to each other and express their feelings elevates the show and it's storytelling, props for Ultimate alien to have that.

@@diamond_dude1063 Dagon Arc had great interaction between Sir George, Azmuth and Ben it was epic you can just feel it Ben Azmuths current savior of the universe, George Azmuths hero from the past against Dagon ! Build up Damm strong.
I dont know why the writers decided to turn this one character who was a villain in the og series into a good guy but boy oh boy did they manage to pull it off.
When I was a kid and watched Kevin get transformed into a monster because all the alien DNA. I was genuinely so sad for him, and if I'm not wrong the show actually treats that like a curse or something really bad. So I, for one always wanted and expected a redemption arc from Kevin ever since the first episode he appeared. He was just a kid doing stupid things, he didn't deserve it.

Best part about UA is that since it's immediately after AF, Ben, Kevin and Gwen's chemistry is better than ever and they have all these inside jokes that always pay off, like Ben yelling out his alien's names and Kevin and Gwen messing around with that. They just know each other so well at that point that their relationship feels real.
I remember that the voice actors said it was really fun working together, so by UA they may have blast doing their dialogues✨

Kevin has far more natural potential. At base their pretty even. Honestly the broken one is Gwen. Magic literally has NO RULES on the Ben 10 universe with her casually having done stuff like FREEZE TIME.

Major character development. Both Ben and Kev-they’re like two siblings who can’t stand each other, but can’t live without the other.
Whenever I hear Kevin open his mouth and say anything at all, I cry.
Either because what he said was something hilarious, or because what he said is that Ben is his best friend. 🤣❤
One thing about this show that I would personally put a point across is the fact that this entire series grew up with us. They set up a manner of flow that each season was inclined with our age. I remember, it was 5th , 6th grade or 7th grade when I watch Ben 10 the first time, and it was pretty new in the media... but looking back what struck me the most is how each character represent almost all of us. Ben was a brat. Gwen was every brother and sister sometimes us, being a sensible one to whenever it is our friend or cousin who starts doing stupid shit and Kevin being every backbencher in school back in the day, bunking classes, getting into fights, picking, bullying (we are human. We have grown. I guess accepting our childhood mistakes is something we must account).
But once Alien Force and Ultimate Alien came in, the dynamics changed. Like, how Ben, Gwen and Kevin became a team of friends. Like how when you come to that certain age where you just stick to having only a single to double digit of (20 number, max) friends who know you properly amidst 1000 of them, wherever you are.
Finally, you are in the working world and you are in a routine (Onmiverse). You see completely new faces around and you just have a few acquaintances who are close to you. They know you inside out, all your interests and dislikes, you both are great friends but still have a certain gap between each other and naming that gap as "Work buddies". Everything falls on you and though you have your work friends or buddies to help out, the final push is from your end and you go back, freshen up after a good night's sleep and come back to push again.
Ben 10 really grew with us.

As I get older, the Ben 10 series also matured. Although the reboot has left me a weird taste. The old UA was really something, like Ben learns to tackle depression, fighting between his needs and wants e.g Julie/his hero lifestyle, tackling loss, learning that every action he takes has consequences intended or not. Heck it reminds me more of the teen titans one ya know the old version and the justice league animated series.

Honestly this is one of the reasons kevin is my favorite character in the whole show
Especially since a: Dagon's heart is part of that power, and I can't imagine it is anything but corruptive towards someone who wields it, and B: Ascalon has already proven, via the Incursions, that it too invites abuse. Combined, the fact Osmosians begin to lose sanity the more DNA they absorb seems fairly equivalent in terms of "how slippery the slope is".
That detective Kevin is everything.

Yes Ben may have been selfish but your missing the bigger picture the real reason why he wasn’t talking to her as much is because he was work focused his work always came first but since this Ben has seen a future where he ended up like a massive workaholic I guess that’s partially a reason why he likes to have fun but still the way omniverse made it out Julie shoulda just went over there and spoke to Ben instead of just breaking it off😂🤦🏽♂️
