    22:07 Close! Huw Watkins is a composer, and it's his cellist brother, Paul, who joined the Emersons. They're both Welsh, incidentally, not English :)

    I agree about the Mehta LAPO box. I took it out again yesterday and played the Ravel and Nielsen discs. What a pity that he didn't do the complete Daphnis and more Ravel. I think he made a huge mistake when he left LA for NY and the inferior sounding CBS. I love this box and it is sad that not a single disc in the Complete Columbia and Warner boxes is of interest to me.

    Anthony, here is a serious question. Why wouldn't folks want this music in a digital format? Classical music was an early pioneer of digital recording, and we must assume those making that decision felt doing so added value. With much of the pretense shattered after the MOFI acknowledgement of a digital stage, why are these not better accepted?

      @@tylerbaker2012 good question. Well, more and more do with the mini resurgence of CD and more digital recordings released on vinyl. But many classical fans simply love the sound of vinyl.
