As an North-American, I salute Maestro Kakhidze, the members of the Symphony Orchestra, and all the people of Georgia! To the great majority of my IGNORANT countrymen, "Georgia" is nothing but the location of the city of Atlanta. They have never known -- or they have forgotten -- the days of Messrs. Gorbachev and Shevardnadze, which made such a temendous difference in the history of the world. Many of my countrymen are unaware of the fact that the Georgian people are a very brilliant, talented, and hard-working ethnic group -- and that they are well represented by Vakhtang Kakhidze, these musicians, and many other fine and virtuous human beings! BRAVO!
